I'm in the same place as you. The most subtle lip available is the Mines or the Veilside V1 (had one on my last Zed) and looks spot on.

A stolen / recovered car is listed as CAT D and for that reason it will be always be worth a lot less. Can be a pain to insure too so unless you really need to i'd leave it.

I might be missing something as if its a wrap you are of course right. However if its a paint job then its perminante so classed as a colour change if every panel is covered. NOt saying i am 100% right but could do with some clarification? Sorry yes I was talking about a wrap colour change. A respray would require you to inform the dvla as its permanent

You have to tell your insurance but you don't have to tell the dvla as its temporary. I chose to on my previous zed as I didn't want the extra attention from the police but legally you don't have to. Or at least that was the case when I had mine done.

Looking good. It's screaming out for some mahoosive wheels though

As said, put some proper tyres on it in the oem sizes and it will be right

I really think this will look awful. As said of you really want a white Zed then stump up the cash for a pro wrap.

If I hadn't just sorted my Volks I would have definitely gone for Advan, they do some lovely wheels

Cheers for the feedback guys. Yeah the tabs on the wheels are an odd design feature and i agree they would look cleaner without them but I do think the overall style suits the Zed well. Also went for some neo-chrome nuts as you can see in the close up pic You reckon I should go for 10mm spacers? I was hoping I wouldn't need to but I think it would really get the stance spot on

Black wheels can look great on a black car. A couple of things that I always notice though. Black wheels will look significantly smaller than silver wheels so this may affect the style you choose. And you'll need plenty of tyre dressing

Could you post some pics of the splitter? Tried looking at your album but the image links were broken. Quite tempted with one of these but just want to see how it looks on a black car. Would it fit without the struts as thats the only bit i dont like the look of.

Liking the stealth look

Fitted them a few days back but wanted to wait for a bit of sun to get the car cleaned up and take some pics. Not your traditional volks but I've always loved the simple style and to me they have a similar look to the OEM Rays which I think is a good thing. I did spend a lot of time deciding what wheels to go for, had a set of Nismos on my last Zed and the diamond cut lip was just a nightmare to live with so decided to go with something different and without a polished lip. These came up at a bargain price, pretty much brand new and although the offsets aren't quite as agressive as I would have wanted they look pretty good and maybe a set of 10mm spacers will just make them perfect. So they are Volk Progressive TE's. Fronts 19 x 8.5 ET 22 Rears 19 x 9.5 ET25. Tyres Toyo T1-R 245 35 19 / 275 35 19. The car is on Eibach springs. I love the dish on the rear which are classed as "Face 2" where as the fronts are "Face 1" which have no dish which is a shame but I quite like the different look of the front and rears together.

Highly recommend thewheelspecialist.co.uk as they did my Nismos many moons ago but they have always have offers on so dont pay full price. Usually its 4 wheels for the price of 3. Just ask and haggle, will save you a bit.

That is hideous and hideously over priced. He's put the Alfa interior shot in thinking he can fool people as the leather is a similar colour
