come on guys, you know as soon as you drive one you'll want one. my friends just bought a new m3 and we are going up to middlehurst at the weekend, he is already thinking about it!! Yes the interior isn't that great and you cant have the colour combo you want....but 0-60mph in 3.3 secs and faster than a veyron around the ring!!!!!! im sold!!

hi guys, after seeing some of the pics of cars that have been detailed i really want to get mine done. being black i know it will look ten times better than just a normal wax and although the paint is in fairly good cond. there are swirl marks and light scratches that i want to get rid of. so question is, who does it in cheshire? if anyone does it as a hobby i would be more than happy paying for them rather than a pro to do it. i live south of manchester around knutsford. cheers,

that Alfa 8C is truly stunning!!! however i do think those Mansory cars are absolutely disgusting!!! The head designer at Ferrari must have broken down into tears when he saw what they've done to the 599 and as for that SLR...they've managed to turn a fairly ugly car into a complete monstrousity...who would actually buy one of those!!!

on my car, 5th to 6th crunches every time now, unless i do it in two stages very slowly. my Z is out of warranty....is there anything i can do or just hope it doenst cause any serious problems!!?/

Kev, that looks really good, your wheels are gorgeous!!! Was yours the fiberglass lip or urethane....ive heard the fitment can be a struggle. how did you find yours? cheers,

just to support my findings...saw another one on the way home today. blade silver Z, women driver!! it seems all the women Z drivers live in my village!!

any pics of you silver sparkle lips:lol: the only reason i didnt want to keep the diamond cut lips is due to the upkeep they take. i thought if i do the nismo centres in satin black and then the lips is sparkle silver? what you guys reckon about that? still a no no?? if not im just gonna leave em std!

last time i let the mrs borrow the Z, the passenger side Nismo wheel came back modelling a nice chunk out of it!!! NEVER AGAIN!!!!

thanks phil (the font of all Z knowledge) heres a few more questions for you...what can i do to protect my wheels from future corrosion. it seems weird that only one wheel has got battered, the others are mint. i clean them fairly often but have never waxed them etc... any tips?

guys, theres no debate to be had here....there is nothing hotter than a honey in a fast car especially when its a Z!! the reason i started this topic but due to a sighting today which virtually made me pull over i was that flustered. driving out of manchester and stopped for the lights...i look over and see a stunning blonde (mid 20's) driving a white audi r8 (nuff said) also followed a red veyron into lymm this afternoon which i was pretty happy with...anyway im veering off topic. im always suprised just how many females i see driving Z's, i thought the shuddering gear stick and chronic fuel consumption would put them off such a manly brute of a car but it appears not. so question is...are there any female members on the forum and if so PICS PLEASE!!!!

i know most people arent a fan of personalised plates and especially ones that try and spell words but i thought it was worth a punt! this plate is on retention - R44 CED think it would be a bit of fun for any RACER out there that does track days etc id provisionally sold it to a guy to put on his caterham but his situation changed and had to flog the second car (bloody wife) not looking for stupid figures, around £300 thanks for looking pm me if you want pics of it, got some on my old type r

has anyone here had a nismo wheel refurbed? im thinking maybe just get this wheel done and leave them standard for the moment...prefer to spend the money on nismo skirts and veilside lip. the place i went showed me a polished lip and it was proper mirror shiny whereas the nismos are a sort of duller finish and i cant have mismatched wheels!!

went westway nissan in manchester today and they had a white gt coupe on the front...it looked good but not as bright as i'd hoped. the pics on this thread look really good but this on a dull day looked almost off white and it didnt tempt me as much as i thought....still got the guy to give me part ex on my kuro black tho!!

sounds daft but little things like tyre pressures make a difference. try folding the wing mirrors in...that should reduce the drag!

haha fair point. i like the look of a polished rim but cant be bothered with the hassle so do you guys reckon it would look ok to paint the rim in a high power silver and then do the centres in either black or anthracite? the car will be going in this week and im no closer to figuring out what to do!!!
