  1. the Zed was the noisiest of them all!!
  2. just going through some pics on my computer and came across this one i thought id share with you. it was a couple of years before my parents went all sensible and bought diesels. r32 - mum 350z - dad focus rs - mine civic type r - bro used to be great on family occasions because we'd all decide to drive!!
  3. welcome pal...your a brave man...to trade im a t350 must be a hard thing to do. such a pretty car!!!
  4. utterly disgraceful mate....i would certainly not let this matter drop (as im sure you are not going to either). it appauls me how some of these supposed main dealers treat customers...to put it into perspective my dad has a 330d coupe (bout 12 months old now) but he wasnt happy with the handling and said it didnt feel right compared to another car he had driven. the bmw engineer agreed and replaced the entire suspension of the car. struts, shocks, springs, bushes...absolutely everything plus 2 days labour all FOC. Its something ill think about more carefully when changing cars in the future.
  5. been waiting for this thread!! looking really good there mate, what was the fit like on the front lip? (did the bodyshop say anything) the one i've ordered is the latest urethane version....is yours frp? i think the proportions of the veilside v1 are just right...the lip especially. any further mods planned?
  6. 25 and its about a £1000 with mods listed. it should be around this mark, anymore than £1500 and its a bad deal...either that or your postcode town is Basra
  7. Cheers, i will get them fitted later. Just waiting for the carbon mirror covers from delsa now to complete the look!
  8. they have just arrived now!! look good, cant wait to get them fitted...any advice? how long would you leave it before driving after applying them? cheers,
  9. i kinda prefer them that way up! nice pic
  10. i know, there all as bad as nova drivers! ...says the 25 year old who spends all his money on modifying his Zed
  11. maybe that was the one! im sure there was pics of an oem lip on a roadster and people thought it didnt look right
  12. i would think the grey coupe is my mate, he works in manc and is always on the m56 at that sort of time. you didnt see the plate did you? v6 ***
  13. i think there was a thread on this pretty recently with pics...try doing a search mate!
  14. i might try this tonight then, hill starts are a work of art in the Z!!!
  15. its likey the catch mate, sharp inclines aren't one of the Z's specialities. there goes the idea to drop the suspension and fit a front lip!
  16. wow! never knew you had that supra kevin....a serious piece of kit!! cant wait to see it on the pod!
  17. let me guess you still feed the steering wheel through your hands like we were taught! it was only a light hearted joke, not to be taken too seriously daaave
  18. i think what he's saying is, people tend to be put off buying a car like that when its been modified. most Z owners tend to be slightly older and so you are limiting your market. put it back to standard....sell the mods seperately and it will be alot easier to sell. good luck with the sale tho mate
  19. its a nightmare trying to sell private plates, they are always valued by agents at crazy money but they never sell them! i've got two that ive never been able to shift and i keep having to pay £25 each to keep the damn things on retention!!!
  20. im still waiting for my nismo pillars from nengun in japan they worth it mike?

    Where and Which

pretty stupid question but ill answer it all the same its very much a personal preference mate, i have the 19" nismo's (along with alot of people on here) and for me they are the nicest wheels you can get in terms of look and quality. best thing is to go through the galleries or come to a meet and see what takes your fancy. one thing to note is that you do have to pay for good quality rims!! try bigphil at esr, see what he keeps in stock
  23. mine were £50....caught my mate on a good day!!! and after a few jars
  24. i quite fancy a carbon fibre engine cover....i'll give it a few days and wait till it comes up in the for sale section
