  1. did anyone spot nicholas in his oversized mirrored ray bans!!! pure comedy!! put my name down for a £5 lobster, actually i'll buy the lot!!
  2. yeah ill take some more, just had to rush out so couldnt do it properly. i think they were about £80 delivered. that was for the mirror post covers too.
  3. just bored waiting for the apprentice to come on and was wondering who has the highest number under their signature? im only on a miserable 101 so come on guys lets see what you got!!
  4. nothing to say just wanted to add my 100th post!!!
  5. no suspension creak with me...just crunching gearbox and clicking axles!!
  6. great read! as mike said that kuro looks really cool, and that exhaust...maybe supersprint? i know they do an oval style like that.
  7. i have some focal utopias but only in 5 inch from a previous car, i think ill fit these one weekend, they are brilliant speakers. id be interested to hear somones car who has changed the speakers, i've sort of got used to the bose system but i know that in car audio terms it isnt that great. another reason to come to donny!
  8. id go for a dark colour black/anthracite on a gunmetal car. personally i think the red lip looks really tacky and bronze will just be a mis match of colours. if you've already got the carbon theme then black will look best. as people have said they do make the wheels appear smaller so you would have to lower it to get the full effect. why not 19"s they look much much than 18"s unless you gonna lower the car alot then i think 18's look cool.
  9. they are from delsa, yes mate. i will take some better pics tomorrow and send them to you. aslong as the edge is stuck down the fit is very good. im not sure if to take over the post covers though, dont want it to look over the top and the mirrors did look really good on their own.
  10. well they arrived today from taiwan or all places. the carbon weave is alot bigger than my nismo b pillars but i actually prefer this look than the smaller weave. (shame it doesnt all match) right the bit everyone wants to know...do they fit? well....i ordered the mirror post covers too which are basically just carbon triangles, the annoying thing is these have to be trimmed at the top because there is a small section at the top of the oem mirror post which is raised up slightly from the rest of the panel. ive trimmed them but havent made a great job of it so the finish on the top isnt too hot. the mirror covers fit suprisingly well despite alot of negative reports. to be honest i think if you have a light colour car then they wouldnt look as good because it would be easy to see where the covers stop if you see what i mean. anyway heres a few pics so see what you think. didnt have time to do some proper shots or clean my car but i think they look great. cheers guys, Si
  11. i think that wheel combo (black/polished) looks very cool on red. just get that lowered now mate and it will really finish it off
  12. thats a great price for that mileage, spec etc. i'll mention to a friend of mine, he's still in early stages but worth a go. good luck with the sale mate.
  13. how much for the mats mates? might be interested if the price is right (as bruce forsyth once said)
  14. welcome on board....get those pics up!!
  15. haha, i thought that too! thats one heavy shunt to do that! he must have been

    Carbon lip

definately pay for a decent quality one...that part on ebay says professional installation required which questions how well it fits. wasn't aware you needed a mechanics degree to peel off some 3m tape and press hard!!!

    Cool dance

impressive, but if i saw him out dancing like that i think i'd roll him up into a ball and stuff him into my empty pint glass!
  18. Not true, Chris's car is now back in spec without the addition of any other parts. Everything had been loosened to fit the springs so all out of place, get stuff fitted at the right place and the right result is achieved. So the camber is spot on without any parts being fitted....i looked through hundreds of threads when looking at which springs to get and everyone who had eibachs said their camber was out and couldnt be adjusted perfectly without new parts. do i stand corrected? (said the man wearing orthopedic shoes)
  19. the very reason i didnt go for eibach...too low and they end costing a fortune once you've adjusted the camber!!
  20. im always too lazy to modify under the bonnet but i have to say that does look good! look forward to seeing it at donny!

    Binned it

if you're gonna go out you may aswell go out with a bang!
  22. £78 shipped from japan the only reason i paid extra for the nismo ones was because id heard a few problems of some fading and yellowing so i just thought id go for these.
  23. i know they are nothing new but here's a pic of them now fitted onto the car...and a few of the whole car. im a pleased with the look, not cheap when you consider what they are but add a nice touch and another nismo badge always goes down well!! still waiting for my nismo skirts and veilside v1 front lip to arrive from adam
  24. i will do mate, i struggled to find any reviews on them..aside from 3fiddy who said his were great. they should be here next week so will let you know how they go. it was abit of a gamble to be honest but i think if they do fit they will look brilliant. if they dont fit, ill make up some strange excuse that i dont want them anymore and try and flog em to someone on here
  25. the 225's are quick, i had a seat leon with same engine and that had a revo remap on it and it was seriously quick....problem is those vag turbo engines lack character. the noise is dull and the revs fade out at the top end so fun factor is low. the Z is a quick car...not that spritely off the line but 3rd, 4th gear it pulls hard, you wont be dissapointed. its power is very linear which is quite deceptive because obviously there is no kick in the back like with a turbo. the Z is very torquey low down so no problems there and you can rev it freely which i much prefer than a turbo. the noise alone will sell it to you!! reliability...it is very good although there do seem to be standard faults with virtually all first phase cars (see warranty threads for details). cost of ownership...servicing is very cheap, insurance aint too horrible, road tax about to be a real wallet clencher and fuel consumption aint great. i dont see over 24 but i drive it to enjoy it. all in all, its a excellent second hand buy, its not the cheapest and is certainly not very practical but thats why they are still fairly exclusive unlike the ubiquitous TT. for those reasons...go for it!
