its called axle tramp, you get it alot on front wheel drive cars and its the wheels trying to fight for grip, you will get a loud thump as the suspension bottoms out because the wheels are bouncing. its done it on my Zed once and the rear wheels made such a loud thump, i thought id bent something luckily they were fine, it always sounds worse it is.

they sure are, i know one guy has them fitted on his car and they look pretty good.

but he's saying his was chipped and it makes a hell of a difference to the performance. like you say in std form, nothing special. no matter what you do to that VAG 1.8t engine it will always sound like a tractor on start up!

i love the use of bog roll over the numberplates to disguise the letters cheap car that, im just not clued up enough of how bad a flood damaged car is.

mine was a set of 19" nismo's. id probably recommend as a first mod the nismo exhaust....i really wished id saved harder and got one myself!!!

i had a leon cupra r with a revo chip on it so same thing just in a lighter body and only front wheel drive!!!! scary as hell, thats probably why i put it through a hedge!

the TT is a good car, its just a shame it mainly appeals to the female sorts. which one you have 225 turbo?

depends what sort mate, there are loads of options. i think the std lip spoiler suits the car perfectly but if i had to get one it would be the INGS one which blends into the boot. looks really good. i think there was one for sale fairly recently, have a look. the most popular is the nismo v1 or a replica version. speak to big phil at esr for all the options and prices. glad to see you ditched the TT and bought a mans car!

great little cars but id say an extra 53 bhp out of those mods is very good going!!! and it must have tyres made out of pritstik to get 0-60 in 5.6 secs!!

just think of the fuel cost for that sort of mileage!!!

why advertise a car and not give the mileage???? the only reason....its done mega miles!! and to be honest when they dont give the mileage i always think its dodgy

yeah thats the one i do like, think it looks gorgeous and really suits the Zed but couldn't be doing with the square plate.

i dont know mate, i cant find anything i like for the rear without going over the top. i think the nismo spats look awful so i think ill leave it. any suggestions?

its the urethane version, i had to wait a while to get it but the fit was brilliant and it just flexes so no chance of wrecking it. i did take the bumper off to fit but mainly cos i had some reflectors to go in.

christ that must be fast!! ive been in a cossie running a pityful 400bhp and it ripped my face off.
