  1. Nice one Sandy, great to have you along Convoy leaving from mines Sunday am.
  2. Hi mate sorry to hear that your knock is back, but you really have to get it professionally diagnosed. The bottom ball joint on the front suspension is part of the compression arm and is not available separately as an oem replacement. The ARB links are available either as stock or adjustable. Guessing which part is giving you grief is extremely expensive. I have most of the suspension arms and ball joints available as preowned. I also have available new stock ARB links and new adjustable links, the latter should be fitted when you have a lowered suspension set up. Best to get an expert to check your suspension over mate and get an informed diagnoses. I have about a 25 full sets of these available with next day delivery, so no problem with supply. Alex.
  3. Dave, If it turns out to be the fuel pump and you don't fancy paying new prices then give me a shout as I have 2 available. One is a stock pump which has done only 9000 miles, comes complete with seals, screws and float etc. The other is a Nismo uprated fuel pump which has covered 1500 miles. I require, £50.00 for the stock pump and £100.00 for the Nismo. Let me know if I can help you further. Cheers, Alex.
  4. Thanks ZMANALEX , is this normal or should i be seeking replacement? Dave Fill the tank up and see if the noise changes. The pump should be farly quiet and is not a cheap item to replace. What mileage have you done? if it is high, then perhaps removing the pump and cleaning the small panel filter may help. The pump is in the tank directly behind the driver's seat and is reached by removing the rear interior trim etc. Alex.
  5. You will have no worries if NA but you will have NO HP gains.
  6. I have a spare brand new SSV plenum cover available if you don't already have one. It really finishes it off but it won't fit mine due to a few extras getting in the way.
  7. And here it is. viewtopic.php?f=32&t=21842 But I would take it back to the dealer that sold you the car and bend his ear a bit. Good luck.
  8. Unusual for a fuel gauge fault on a UK zed but there is always a first time. I would have been more inclined to think of tank sender/sensor/float unit which is fixed to the side of the pump in the tank. This piece is available separately from the pump but you do have to be careful when refitting the whole unit into the tank as it is very easy to bend the float wire arm. No doubt Nissan have done all the proper tests for them to diagnose the gauge. Keep us in the loop on this one please. Alex.

Maybe, but I would require a colour sample or swatch.

Hi Jay, I prefer to powder coat them mate but they are £85.00 exchange or £175.00 outright.

Like this: Available powder coated in any colour on an exchange basis or outright purchase
  12. The rotor will clear an 18" Rays rim but I doubt if the calliper will. Yes they will fit JDM whether you are on stock callipers or Brembo.
  13. What is the point in going 360mm and fitting smaller pads?

  15. Seller is not being anal. Buyer wanted me to accept payment by Paypal from a third party as he was skint and sent to a non verified address. Wake up and smell the coffee mate. What f***ing difference does it make where the money comes from, as long as its hits your account?? - the fact that I dont get paid till the end of the month means I can get someone else to pay for it on my behalf. As far as smelling the coffee goes - dont patronise me - many can vouch for me on here Whatever
  16. I most certainly would not want this on my FI build until I knew a lot more about it. I think that I will just stick with my HKS Fcon Vpro and HKS Valcon for the time being.

  18. So you knew he was on here under a false name? What exactly are you implying ?
  19. I still run with the Kinetix SSV Plenum but as most of you will know I had to reweld the seams to try and keep it together, with it being stainless I could not weld myself so it had to go to a local specialist. Abbey have also welded it twice. There is no advantage with NA but as it is made of toilet paper then it is troublesome on FI with high numbers. It was only the seams that gave way as per the picture. The early ones were only fused together but I believe the later ones are welded properly but I have yet to see one. The advantage of the SSV to me is that it leaves plenty room for the coolant header and also loadsa room for the TB which as you will see is now cable, so there is plenty room for the butterfly lever, also access to the plugs is much easier. I also have an idle control valve welded into the underside of the SSV plenum. As you will see from the graphs below the SSV plenum certainly does it job but it does not like high numbers as only the other week I had it off again for more welding. If it lets me down again then I will definately swop it out for the Cosworth plenum which I have sitting here waiting to be fitted, in fact I would have done it already but it would mean another 1000 mile round trip to Abbey for a remap and I would also have to turn the TB 180 degrees so that the linkage is on the rear + the idle control valve would have to welded into the cast/alumium Cosworth plenum. I would also have to find another location for the coolant header. Anyway some pictures for you. These numbers are from the hubs and not the fly. Plenum ruptured along the top seam. How it looks with the SSV Cover Present set up
  20. Guys, I can now confirm that it fits the coupe as well as the hard top/coupe. I have just offerred it up on a 2004 JDM coupe with no issues. Cheers, Alex.
  21. On a personal note I have had dealings with this guy in the past and I have personnally met him at my home and we have also exchanged views on his FI build. I personnally have no issues with him what so ever. Maybe I was lucky. As Stew has said the report function is your friend.
