Martin, a nice Gold colour always looks good with Azure. yeah did think that, or was looking at black chrome, will keep thinking - wish I had been on here when you sold your LMGT4 weekend wheels lol LOVE THOSE WHEELS I have another set of LMGT4's that you might be able to wrestle away from me. Also got a set of GT4 18" LM1's in black chrome.

  5. Ignore the guides mate, just make sure that they are very tight. I have not forgotten about the pics mate. I was promised that the stuff was despatched yesterday so should be with me today.
  6. There is a set procedure for belt tightness but I usualy find that they have to be tighter than recommended Your problem will be that the belts are to loose, they really have to be very tight especially the main serpentine belt.

  10. Christian, I have replied to your pm. The NATS code for your car can be retrieved from Nissan U.K and reprogrammed to another virgin ECU. It is also sometimes possible to reprogramme to a used UCU.

ZMANALEX will know - try a pm Geee thanks Colin The codes that you are getting are inconclusive and I would suggest dropping into your nearest Nissan Centre and ask them to plug in there hand held code reader and pull the codes. Also ask them to give you a print out of the codes stored and archived before they delete them. Any friendly Nissan Centre should do this for you without a prior appointment or monetery charge. I am asumming that you do not have a code reader. The codes that you are pulling manually: Generic DTC defininition for 065 or 0065 is Air Assisted Injector Control Range / Performance. Nissan Specific DTC Values for 1065 is ECM Power Supply. Okay, now we have a code (1065) and a DTC Value but that is not much help as that covers a multitude of potential issues so you really require to follow my recomendation and get your fault codes read properly. Once you have them then post them up or pm me and I will talk you through the fix. Below explains what I am trying say regarding where the potential issues lie, but relax because this is not serious or expensive unless your ECU, BCM or IPDM is on its way out but this is highly unlikely as when they fail they usually fail completely. Electronic Control Modules are subsystems consisting of CPUs and assorted signal inputs and outputs dedicated to controlling a component within the vehicle. They range in complexity from an Engine Control Unit which handles the logic for managing the power-train system efficiency, to an Anti-lock Braking (ABS) Control unit that monitors vehicle speed and brake fluid, to a simple body module that controls the automatic door locks or power windows. In many cases, these modules communicate to each other through such protocols as CAN, LIN, J1850, and J1959. Hope this helps. Alex.

I go out at 35psi all round from cold with my 888's After a few laps once the tyres are up to temperature I adjust the pressures, which usually requires me letting considerable air out (12psi) as the temps are now around 47psi. I find driving the 888's when really hot and sticky between 33 and 35psi gives me optimum grip.
  13. Every question that you put forward has been answered and still the questions appear. You appear to be totally unsure of what you want and or what you are willing to spend. I have read through this thread a couple of times now to see what I am missing. It appears that you are creating obstacles that really do not exist or they are totally unsignificant. The advice and recomendations that you have been given are all good, but still you have questions. The prices quoted are all extremely reasonable, yet still you doubt. £200 for fitting the complete V1 kit is not expensive, nor is £400 for painting the complete kit. Fit it yourself and save £200, it is hardly rocket science and even you should manage that. The price that I quoted for the complete kit must have been to cheap as it is now sold and I could have sold it 4 times over. We are all here to help each other but hey man you gotta start helping yourself. There is also a very useful search button, why not try it sometime. Alex.
  14. Thanks for the heads up guys 2006> LEDs available and good to go. Genuine Nissan UK and will fit all U.K and JDM models without any wiring mod. Totally plug and play. Half the price of the Nissan Dealers.
  15. Yes, that is correct and nothing to worry about.
  16. Good luck with the reset procedure and remember and post up the fault codes. If in the future you are using a fault code reader, then please remember that sometimes on the JDM readings will not available. If you discover that you require o2 simulators (spacers) then I have them available for next day delivery. Cheers, Alex.
  17. If you pull back the rubber boot on the clutch fork on the side of the gearbox then you can get in to lub quite easily with a WD40 aerosol or similar. Also try lubricating the fulcrum and spring at the top of the clutch pedal.

  19. No you could very easily fit yourself. Best to get the kit painted first. Two ways to do this : Paint it to match the car exactly or paint to the car paint code. Alex.
  20. It would not be cost effective for you to travel to Scotland to have this fitted mate. Shipping the kit to you is not an issue. Fitting is not a difficult or time consuming job but the prep. and painting will take a few days. Alex.

    I will have these 19" bad boys for sale next week. The LMGT4 rims are as new and totally unmarked. The Racing Harts are brand new.

Just an update on this issue brought about by when I was fitting a big brake kit today as it jogged my memory: As has been previously stated some manufacturers allow you to fit the rotor either way depending on how aggressive you want the brakes to be. ie direction of the slots. If you use this as a rule of thumb then please be careful as a more important issue is the rotation of the vanes within the rotor. Rather than trying to explain I though the image below will clerify this issue once and for all.
