    Test pipes

This has been done on here previously and I believe was very quickly taken off again. I have a pair of test pipes that I have just removed from my car as I required 3" test pipes for my application. They are in great shape and are all predrilled for removable bungs or sensors to be installed as required. They also have the o2 simulators (anti foulers) (spacers) fitted. These are ready to be fitted with no modification required. It is no big deal swopping out the test pipes for the cats come MOT time. As regards sound, well that is a very individual preference. These sound exactly what you are looking for and if you are interested let me know and I will post up some pictures for you if you want. Alex.
  2. For stock power best stick with Fidanza or Helix Fly and Exedy Clutch kit.
  3. Not sure mate, think Gary mentioned he was south african, and was supposed to be here over the next week or so. I also belive there have been some recent improvements / changes to the equipment which is why a number of the UK tuners were invited over to a workshop in south africa in the winter... If you have any info on this please can you PM me so I know what to look out for The Unichip will be fine for n/a applications but you will have to swop out once you go f/i mate. All your stuff went off to Gary this morning so should be with him tomoz.
  4. £595.00 delivered for Exedy Clutch Kit and Fidanza Fly (forum members only) but fresh out of stock and no wonder at those prices. Price increase imminent. Alex.
  5. I sincerely hope that the the main Unichip tuner is not from Dastek.
  6. Hi Doug, further to your pm thought that it would be helpful to other Scottish members if I posted these links up here. The machine shop that I can highly recommend is Agra Engineering in Dundee. We go back a very long time and they are a highly skilled set of guys. Ask for John, Jonathan or Ian. Regarding dyno and mapping, give Jim Curley a shout at Star Performance, Dysart, Kirkcaldy. I would advise you to stay away from Dastek. http://www.agra-eng.co.uk/ http://www.starperformance.co.uk/ Cheers, Alex.
  7. It doesn't have to be in Scotland, but obviously it would be more convenient the closer it is... Any experiences or advice would be much appreciated as it will help me decide a) which route to take the mods and which car to buy in the first place! All help appreciated! Cheers, Doug Hi Doug, I can help you with this. I am based in Perth and can highly recommend a machine shop in this area. Give me a shout and I will point you in the right direction. Alex.
  8. I sure do Stew 3 months old and totally unmarked. Also got a set of 19" Falkens, all around 7mm. Mark, pm if interested. Alex.
  9. Well, where do I start. After 3 years of pain I have eventually overcome the heat soak and high temperature issues that has troubled my car. With the help of Abbey I have managed to squeeze considerable more power and torque from it and reduce the running temperatures. The car is now quite comfortable running 1.2 bar. Had it's shakedown at KRC on Friday evening and was totally trouble free and heading back tomorrow evening (Monday) for another session. The car was no slouch before but it now commands your total respect. Abbey's Dynapack Chassis Dynamometer was used for the mapping so the numbers in the graphs below are from the hubs
  10. First dibs please, you have pm.

    Clutch

4 hours is an average time for a clutch and fly swop out, 3 hours on a good day. The workshop manual lists a lot of unnecessary stuff to be removed to get the gearbox out. Alex.

  20. Is that the new revised version? Yes
  21. I have run both the SSV and the Cosworth Plenums. I had issues with the SSV previously running 500 bhp and had to reinforce and reweld the plenum seams. I now run 600 at the hubs with no SSV reliability issues since. The later SSV plenums are now manufactured using a different process and are now trouble free. No gains to be had if you remain n.a. The Cosworth plenum is much more robust and since Cosworth changed there manufacturing process the quality issues have now been sorted. I have a brand new Cosworth Plenum with Carbon End Covers which I am about to advertise, but it is available to members at the moment for £699.00. Alex.
  22. Yes mate, Carbon Fibre end caps included.
  23. I have these available, in stock and good to go.
