  1. To save the clutch disc potentially sticking to the fly or cover.
  2. Yeah and to protect the side walls, also if you are away for 6 months there is always the chance that a tyre may go down. If the car can be started and moved a bit every week then my recomendations are not really necessary. But if you are like me, storage for 6 months tends to turn into a year at least and it is amazing how stuff deteriorates when left unattended. Best also to dry the bodywork down well before storing and make sure that the brake discs are well dry.

  4. Put it up on blocks if you can, leave handbrake off, disconnect the battery or hook up a suitable trickle charger, jam the clutch pedal down. Lock the garage door.

  6. Hi mate, I require the passenger side air bag dash panel. I didn't spot it in the pictures but I am sure that it will be there as it weighs all of 2lbs. I'll take it if you have it. Cheers, Alex.

  12. You will not get FI for that sort of money I am afraid. That might buy you a decent suspension kit or maybe a brake kit. Go and read up.

  14. The search button is your friend. Lots of information regarding power up grades etc available. Best to have a look and then come back with specific questions. All really depends on what you are looking for and how much you want to spend. You are in the right place because all the information that you will ever require and more is available on this forum. There are a few on here who have gone the supercharge and turbo route so you will get informed opinions from them. Alex.

  18. Matt, all pulleys are easily accessible even with the radiator in place and are easy to swop out with out damage if you are handy with the tools. Regarding belt issues, prior to the guy damaging your alternator pulley, if the belts and pulleys are in good condition then the belt squeal would definately be a tension issue. I have a spare alternator pulley if you decide to go down that route. The alternator pulley can also be swopped out in situ. but it is no big deal removing the alternator if you prefer the alternator on the bench. If he has damaged the alternator as well then don't worry as I have one of those as well. Alex.
