  1. It's crazy! paying to lug around a full tank just because of an silly little elctrical issue! I removed my spare to save on weight
  2. No when this dte flashes the fuel guage reads completely empty and the empty light comes on, if I stop the casr and turn it off then back on sometimes it will stop doing it and show the correct level of fuel
  3. Sounds like it could be a nightmare! any ideas on buying/replacing fuel guage sensor or whatever it is?
  4. cheers, I think dte means Distance till empty but I have no idea why the fuel guage stops reading correctly when the dte starts flashing...? It's a flamin mystery!
  5. Hi all hope someone can tell me how to fix this issue I am having? Recently my multi funtion guage the one that I keep on temp all the time because it is in K's not MPH is flashing and at the same time my fuel gauge doesn't work, WEIRD! if the car starts without this occuring the fuel gaige works as atandard Happy Days! but it's very Fking annoying! it shows a small reading when flashing of 'dte' Hope someone can help? Cheers!
  6. I would stick it up for £150 ono and see how you get on mate, good luck
  7. Never knew there was a padle set available for the Tiptronic Z that sounds cool! Any implications installing this kit on a JDM? i.e. reverse indicator stalk etc....?
  8. LOL! yeh, it can be scary at times, but 'D' just isn't giving me the driving experience that I'm looking for. Massive power help though
  9. Ok The concept is great, we can change through the gears when we like, BUT! I always feel like the trans is kinda hurting when I change down epecially when driving hard. is the Fairlady Auto/Tiptronic box tough? or should I use with care...? Anybody know the limits/stats etc? Cheers.
  10. Thinking about a tasty Momo steering wheel for my Roadster, has anyone done away with the original steering wheel? and is there anything I need to know that could come in handy before getting the tools out? I beleive I have an airbag and when shopping online for my new wheel I noticed that the boss kit come in standard and Airbag so it seems it can be done. Thoughts & suggestions/advice wanted cheers
  11. I would get it up on a hoist ASAP and analyse from the manifold back also you could remove your strut brace/remove your plastic engine cover and check that all of the hoses and pipes are connected where they should be as there are quite a few breather pipes etc around the top of the engine, it's just easier to see them all with the cover off, Good luck I hope it's nothing too serious
  12. Just fitted a set of Denso Iridium's Sorry if this is a repost! but just wanted to know if anyone can ellaborate on the benefits/pro's & Cons of Iridiums? The car feels a wee bit smoother to start not much more different apart from that, but the NGK R's that I pulled out seemed to be quite well worn and the white ceramic part of some of the plugs looked a bit brownish/burnt right at the bottom, what does this mean other than the plugs are old and ready to be replaced? Cheers!
  13. Thats a handy one to know!, I just checkd mine, the white tag on mine is at the bottom hinge at the bottom of the seat (must be different on Roadster's) but yes it said 2003 so there it is! Cheers!
