  1. You must drive like a Granny out for a Sunday hoon on her way to the local church coffee morning:
  2. When he bends it Alex, you have all the spares he needs..!! OH YES.
  3. Best to kep this style of driving for the track. Probably just the Traction or ESP kicking in. Alex.
  4. Seat electrics incuding movement and heating. Seat belt warning. Air bags. Alex.
  5. There are many issues which can cause an engine rattle on start up, and with out hearing it I am afraid I can not give you an informed diagnoses. If you are not confident in your technicians diagnoses then I would highly recommend that you let some one who is a VQ35DE engine expert to have a listen. This issue should be able to be diagnosed without serious stripping. Alex.
  6. Charlie, If your brakes are not in top tip shape then there is a very good chance that your track session will be prematurely cut short by either brake pedal fade or pad fade which are two completely different things. For the sake of £300.00 why take the risk in spoiling your trackday? There is nothing worse than getting in a few laps and your brake pedal sinks to the floor. When selling your car, new brakes will also be a good selling point, however you will not get any more money for your car but it will make it easier to sell with now pads, lines and fluids fitted. In answer to your specific question Charlie, I would advise you to definately change the lines as well, and at £72.00 it is a no brainer. Alex.
  7. A compression test and a cyl. leakage test would tell you that.
  8. You will not see the spring as the bucket covers the spring and the cam covers the bucket.. Alex.
  9. Some 350s are known to rattle for a few seconds from cold start and there are numerous factors which might cause this. However if you have explored all the possibilities and the rattle is from the one of the cam chains, then I doubt if it will be the hydraulic tensioner and is more than likely to be one of the cam chains. This year alone I have replaced cam chains on two 350s due to similar issues. From cold, If you check how far the tensioner is protruding from the tensioner housing then that will give you an idea what is going on. Circa 10mm protrusion is acceptable and circa 20mm is not. If the protrusion is circa 20mm then the reason usually for this is that the small cam chain will be stretched and the tensioner has to come out further to take up the slack and the rattle you get is due to the chain interfering with the casing. If the above is your issue then a new cam chain and tensioner will fix your issue. Also best to replace the chain guides and slippers when you are at it as Nissan have upgraded these with more efficient and durable parts. Alex.
  10. Unfortunately the cam shaft has to be removed to get access to the bucket and valve spring. I would recommend that you run another compression check and also a cyl.leakage test. Alex.
  11. As what Keyser has said: Plenty drop links and nuts in stock Kyle, and good to go same/next day. Alex.
  12. Not rpm related so guess that something must be touching one of the pulleys. Alex.
  13. If you are also looking for advice on what to fit to retain or improve on your present power levels then I would recommend that you retain the 06 airbox and fit a Performance Panel drop in filter. Cosworth or HKS are the most popular and both improve filtration and cold air intake. Plenty in stock and good to go same/next day. Just drop me a PM if I can help you further. http://www.350z-uk.com/topic/46565-hks-de-350z-performance-panel-filters/ http://www.350z-uk.com/topic/40448-cosworth-drop-in-panel-filter-vq35de/ And here is the link to my 10 page sub forum Z store where you will find all this stuff and much more. http://www.350z-uk.com/forum/137-zmanalex/page__prune_day__100__sort_by__Z-A__sort_key__last_post__topicfilter__all Alex.
  14. The fronts are completely different from the rears and they are definately not interchangable with the rears The rear links will not fit to the front and visa versa. The garage have messed up big style and they are at it. It is now down to them to fit the links that you supplied to the rear and provide links to the front free of charge of any cost whatsoever. Links in stock if required and good to go same/next day. Alex.
  15. Nice one Doogy but Pete should already know that. Both HR parts are in stock and good to go same next day. Alex.
  16. All in stock at the moment including the panels but not in GM. Drop me a PM if I can help you further: Alex.
  17. Bank 2 is the L/H side and sensor 2 is the rear sensor. This should fix your issue if it is down to the HFCs. http://www.350z-uk.com/topic/23011-o2-simulatorslamda-spacers-to-fix-cel-dash-light/ In stock and good to go same/next day. Drop me a PM if I can help further. Alex.
  18. As above, get a trolly jack or HUGE bar and force the ball joint and seating cone together, with a bit of brute force you should be able to "lock" the ball joint from spinning. All ball joints, seating cones, bushings, arms and nuts in stock if required. Alex.
  19. As recommended above, P2 next: All parts in stock and good to go same/next day if required. Alex.
  20. In stock and good to go same/next day if required: http://www.350z-uk.com/topic/54916-cam-rocker-covers-for-350z/ http://www.350z-uk.com/topic/46544-genuine-nissan-cam-box-gaskets/ Alex
  21. Thank you Will: In stock and good to go same/next day. But be warned there is no such thing as a cheap fully working Xenon headlamp with all electrics and fixing brackets intact. Alex.
