  1. Providing it is not a "coincidence" issue, I am thinking that it may be an auto transmission valve body issue caused by low oil pressure in the auto gearbox. This may have been caused by the garage not topping up the oil lost from the auto transmission when they had the transmission cooling pipes disconnected at the radiator. Remember also that it is special Nissan J fluid that has to be used and not the normal TQF. Alex.
  2. Did they take the engine out to do the chain, or did they do it insitu? Have you checked the transmission oil level ? Alex.
  3. The combination of the uprated clutch and the OEM CSC will more than likely be your issue. Fit the uprated after market CSC kit and all should be well. Alex.
  4. First thing to do is pull the codes and post up here what they are and an informed diagnoses should follow. Second thing depending on your location, cancel the Nissan booking and rebook with an approved indy. Oh! and check your brake fluid level and top it up to the max, Alex.

  9. Well done Dan. I did the same with my R35 GT-R in June 2013. Priced it to move quickly and it was gone in 3 hours courtesy of an advert in PistonHeads. I had another car waiting so I priced it to sell. Got a phone call from my local NHPC moaning that it was to cheap, to which I replied, well I got 5 grand more than what you offered me as a P/X.
  10. If you applied black over the blue, the blue would not show through as it is a very dark blue. Alex.
  11. Yes this works and you will not be disappointed, providing you leave it to dry for 24 hours, preferably undercover. Alex.
  12. Brake fluid level, brake switch or associated wiring, in that order. Alex.

  14. If the methods as described above do not work for you then just remove the bolt and nut from the gear shift linkage and remove from the car the complete shifter. Then just clamp it in a vice and screw off the the shift knob. Alex.
