  1. Genuine Nissan OEM fluids every time for gearbox a diff. Also concentrated Moly for the gearbox works for most.
  2. Nice one mate. Plenty pre owned in stock with good rubber seals. Just drop me a PM with the number that is on the metal part of the dip stick. Alex.
  3. Take the car to an alignment place that knows there way around a 350. It would also help if you post up the print out with the current geo settings as that way we will know what we are up against.
  4. Got to be the dipstick or a huge coincidence Retrace your steps. Get the under tray off as the clean must begin. Don't drive the car until the fault is fixed as you will quickly empty the sump. Also oil on to a hot exhaust manifold or cat is never a good idea. Finally use the correct oil viscosity.

    500Z?

There is a little switch on the dash that allows that to happen.
  6. If you are planning to leave the car unused from November - March in Glasgow, then best to be garaged up. And also completely dry off the rag top it that is the case. to the forum.
  7. The one on the right with the cooling fins is standard on all UK cars with a VLSD.
  8. Jist gee it a sook or a blaw to test the one way valve. So if no air comes out the otherside it's broken/blocked? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk Depends if you are sooking or blawing Blowing on where the hose connects onto. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk Ask your girlfriend or wife for an informed answer.

  11. Surely not another gearbox thread. Have a wee search as this subject has been played to death recently. However, still sorry to hear of your issues. Alex.
  12. Just fabricated a tool today for removing the bushing so hopefully I wont have the same issues as you have had. Looking good though. It is jobs like these where a ramp and a transmission hydraulic jack comes in real handy. Alex.
  13. Happy days, Glad to hear that you are all sorted.
  14. "Using the phone" appeared to be no more than about 2 seconds checking something, I reckon he was probably turning the camera on. "Driving like an idiot" - how do you know? He appeared to be going quickly, but I wouldnt want to convict the guy on the view of some trees above his head. I have an Atom and the trees do tend to pass you quickly, unfortunately I do not have the video evidence to prove that.
  15. Be patient Phil it is not a forced sale Someone will be along that has been rear ended or wants to convert back to OEM
  16. The Nissan service manual is full of exaggerations. You will have to stop reading all this stuff as you wan't be able to sleep at night or worse still it will effect your health and you may have an early death. Why are all your posts doom and gloom? Be happy and positive man !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
  17. You certainly know how to treat a lady. Slippery slope from now on. On a more serious note, big congratulations.
  18. What a lot of gearbox scaremongering bollocks. One of my mottos. You don't have a problem until you have a problem. However, if you are unfortunate enough to be one of the less than 1% to have a gearbox issue, the boxes are easy and reasonably cheap to overhaul. A fully working known pre owned CD009 is also a viable option. Can't believe that I am still reading this thread.
