  1. If your car is leaning out then I would not recommend that the car is driven in earnest until the issue is fixed.
  2. I reckon that the insurance claim would be successful if worded correctly as interpretation would be key.(excuse the pun) "Damaged" could be construed as broken so I do not think that they would instruct a loss adjuster in this instance. What you have is a damaged component which is clearly defined in the JL print. IMHO I do not view this issue as wear and tear as I have experienced this issue on extremely low mileage cars. Just my 2 pence worth, although still a bit of a grey area. Good luck.
  3. Yes, the 265 will fit a standard 18" Ray. I used to run the Federal RSR (amongst others) on my 350 until I recently changed to Yokohama A052's I think that I may still have a new set of RSR's in stock, so if you decide to go that route then let me know and I will confirm the sizes and work out a deal for you. Alex.
  4. Just in case you did not find it: https://www.350z-uk.com/topic/77426-buyers-guide/
  5. If it is the release bearing that is noisy then a new one will fix your issue, however, if it is the gearbox idler gear/first motion shaft bearing that is noisy, then it will not.
  6. Talk to Nissan customer services before you proceed with any Ombudsman. They may authorise a goodwill as warranty will definitely not pay
  7. Chris, Preowned gearboxes in stock and good to go same/next day. Just drop me a PM if I can help further. Also when the box is out might be a plan to swop out the clutch at the same time. https://www.350z-uk.com/topic/117982-for-sale-clutch-and-flywheel-combo-kits-10-in-stock/?tab=comments#comment-1759827 Alex.
  8. Well done Paul, another example of a successful DIY
  9. Loads, best to refer to the forum buyers guide.
  10. The front wings are bolt on and easily replaced.
  11. Depending on the extent of the rust I would not worry too much about it. Easily cut out and repaired, however, a pair of rust free or new wings might be a plan for the future. Certainly not a deal breaker, however, it might give you some negotiating power.
  12. Probably related. I would have a look at all the vacuum hoses to start with.
  13. Why don't you post up in the introduction section and introduce your self properly? There also is a buyers guide section which is very informative. Also, what year and model is the car?
  14. Pics required please, as we don't have crystal balls.
  15. What codes are you getting? Also what year and model is your car? What adverse running issues are you having?
  16. When changing the plugs, perhaps left a hose off causing it draw air and to run lean.
  17. Jon, In stock and good to go same/next day. Just drop me a pm if I can help further. Alex.
  18. I think that 500+ peeps will prove you wrong that it will be unloved:
  19. Doubt if it has anything to do with the exhaust repair. Clear all codes and see if it returns, then report back.
  20. PM received and replied to
  21. Absolutely love it and would have one in a heartbeat if I won the lottery. What a track toy and with production limited to 500 I would guess that they will be selling at a £250.000 premium in the future However, on the other hand, you could remain loyal to the Nissan brand and have 10 x R35 GTR's for that money. That equates to one for every day of the week and 3 spare, just in case one breaks.
  22. Call the AA or similar, by the time you fart about with a slim jim or try to access the bonnet pull cable from the wing arch, you will be much quicker and probably cheaper using the AA.
  23. It is a JDM 350Z and the car is running without the VDC fuse
