  1. Could be numerous things causing this. More description and a video clip would help take the guesswork out the diagnoses. Also HR or DE? Mileage?
  2. Best to factor in another 25% for Vat and Duty etc. Why buy from across the pond when similar products are available in the UK at a more competitive price. Also, have you ever tried to raise a warranty claim with overseas suppliers?
  3. Sound normal. When up in the air, the steering will not remain on full lock and at the same time, it will not fully self-centre either.
  4. In stock and good to go same/next day. Just drop me a PM if I can help further. Alex.

  6. Yes, I also have the scuttle panel covers.
  7. All the above in stock. The shift knob is £50.00 and is finished in black leather and is unmarked and is in great shape. The cover will be free.

    350Z Seats

I have a pair of black leather in excellent condition with full electrics which have just come out a 29,000 mile 350Z. Just drop me a PM if I can help further. Alex.
  9. I have 4 in stock at the moment, all from 350Z with 6 speed manual transmission. 2 are from facelift and the other 2 are prefacelift. I can ship the complete carpet or happy to chop for you, which will make shipping cheaper and fitting easier. Just drop me a PM if I can help further.
  10. If you prefer to leave the car with your ex, if it was me I would get my name on the V5 and I would also insure the vehicle in my name with the ex as a named driver. You will have to declare to the insurance company where the vehicle will be kept overnight etc. IMHO I would also get a legally binding contract drawn up regarding the agreed repayments by a solicitor, however, a DIY contract can be also binding. This situation may be amicable at the moment, however, I guarantee that it will not remain that way for long. So, brutal as it may sound, I would take the car back from your ex. and if you want to play Mr nice guy, then I would suggest that you repay her the monies that she has already paid to you. Clean break, let go, move on and all that, is the way to go as these sort of arrangements always end badly and in tears.
  11. If you were asking me on a professional basis I would have to recommend that you do not drive the car with the EML on until the issue is diagnosed /fixed. However on a personal basis if you have no option but to drive the car then I would not drive the car in earnest and I would keep the revs below 3000 rpm. Worst case scenario, running lean will cause detonation which may result in engine failure.
  12. WOW!!!! Bargain, as these are worth £800.00 all day long.
  13. The issue is not the post cat sensors. Swop over the front sensors side to side.
  14. Very good condition, no broken fixings and complete with ballasts, igniters and bulbs etc. Courier shipping with full insurance and tracking will be extra @ circa £30.00
  15. The advice given to swop over the front sensors is good and will confirm if the sensor is faulty. If the light comes back on you will probably find that the code is different as the fault will have followed the sensor to Bank 2.
  16. In stock at the moment. £800.00 per pair.
  17. Well happy for you as long as you do not travel too far North.
  18. If it is the Berks that are at fault then an up rev should fix the problem as they can be turned off when doing the tune.
  19. I do not think that you will find anyone to provide that service. Most including myself avoid such jobs. Even the guys that provide a replacement fabric roof service don't get involved with such roof checks/repairs.
  20. It is just a rough temperature guide, the handbook will be more specific. Basically, the canvas loses its flexibility when cold and the roof mechanism cannot cope. If you leave the car with the heater on for about 30 minutes then that may help, but a word of warning, DO NOT manually attempt to operate the roof.
  21. This is the time of year when most roof issues get reported. There is a temperature operation restriction on the roofs and I have found with the OEM material that any attempted operation below 5 degrees C may result in damage to the fabric and the operation mechanism.
