  1. A bit South of you but these guys will sort you out: http://www.litchfieldmotors.com/
  2. Firstly the water pump is mechanical and chain driven and can fail and can be replaced. Back flush the heater matrix and the radiator and then bleed properly. I would guess that you may have a blockage or more likely an air lock. If your tech guy tells you that the water pump is part of the engine and can not fail, then I would not believe a word that he says about the other stuff. See below for bleed procedure:
  3. I have all the parts in stock that are required for a head gasket swop. However, I would not be jumping in with a gasket job on the basis of a guess. Get a proper informed diagnosis before you waste more of your hard earned. I see that you are in Surrey so why not pop along to Abbey MS in Oxted.
  4. I have all the original OEM wiring if that helps.
  5. Best to get that fuse removed when you get the car back.
  6. In stock and good to go same/next day. Just drop me a PM if I can help further. Alex.

  8. Straight fit, providing it is off a Nismo 370Z
  9. I personally find Motorsport on tv quite boring, unless I personally know some of the drivers, which makes it much more interesting on a personal level. I am fortunate that some of the leading drivers cut their teeth at Knockhill Racing Circuit before moving on successfully to the following. BTCC WTCR British GT Championship. So I will be following these 3 with great interest.
  10. to the forum Janice. What colour is your rag top?
  11. The flat centre part of the washer goes to the sub frame side.
  12. Fully working pre-owned switches are in stock if required. Just drop me a PM if I can help further.

12k is a good contingency fund, however, how good will depend on how many years you are planning to keep the car? Normally a well cared for R35 should not be to expensive to repair, but a serious issue similar to the GR6 tranny will eat up a lot of your 12k. On an average of 12,000 miles per annum, expect to pay circa £2000.00 p.a. for your annual service and a set of tyres + your insurance and road tax and a warranty if you decide to go that route.
  14. The most common reason why the bonnet touches the A pillars is because the hinges sieze up. I have had this issue on 350/370 and R35. So remove the bonnet and free of the hinges and grease up well.

A Litchfield warranty is the way to go. There are conditions that your car has to meet before they would offer you a warranty, also their servicing costs are very reasonable. I would not consider an insurance type warranty that most dealerships offer for an R35 If you are unlucky, then repair costs can be big money. Like all warranty policies: READ THE SMALL PRINT
  16. back to the forum Rob. PM received and replied to.
  17. 6.4 kg is a tad light and will only add to the chatter. The lighter the fly the more change in inertia. However, it is what it is and within a few months you will become accustomed to it. Perhaps in hindsight, you should have fitted the Extreme clutch and fly kit, which would have been much quieter.
  18. The SMF has no damping properties so any transmission noises will be "exaggerated" That is one of the reasons why manufacturers install a DMF from the factory to "mask" such noises. Just don't labour it and keep the revs above 1500 rpm and you will be fine. What brand of clutch and SMF did you fit?
  19. It is normal for SMF to chatter below 2000 rpm. A change in driving style will almost alleviate your issue.
  20. I am sure that I can help you with this, just let me know what you require.
