  1. Agreed. Trouble is that it is half decent everywhere else in the world Have you asked Siri who his daddy is yet?
  2. Welcome to the 21st century To be fair to both them and you it wouldn't have hurt to leave it in, but then technology does need to move forward at some point.
  3. Blimey, that time of the month is it sweetheart?

I only use the harder setting on my PASM when the surface is very good, or more usefully when going over speedbumps so the back end doesn't flop down worryingly close to the floor. The normal setting is far more appropriate for UK roads by a long way.
  5. The 350Z was only available here officially from 2003, which is why that's what all the ads say. Yours is an early JDM import, but it's identical to the 2003 cars so any exhaust that fits a 2003 will fit your car Got a link to the ad?
  6. That's the second time I've seen that book mentioned on car forums this week, I'm really going to have to pick up a copy I think.
  7. For me 3D is a waste of time, but I won't go down that particular rant now. I bought my Sammy 55" 6-series LED telly two years ago when they first came out, and it was an amazing picture then and it's still amazing now. Obviously it's been superceded by the 200hz models (mine's only 100hz) so they look even better now, but I'd happily buy another tomorrow without question. The only downside is the remote, which for a £2500 TV is an utter disgrace but then Samsung use the same remotes give or take across many models to save costs so I can understand that. All that said, DO NOT BUY THAT TELLY WITHOUT VIEWING IT. Go down to your local Currys/Comet for 9am on a Saturday morning, or during the week is even better, and take a particularly impressive BD with you (I used Independence Day as it has lots of fast moving images and plenty of blacks) and try it on a range of TVs. What works for some people make look gash to you, so don't buy without trying it first. I took my Xbox an a copy of Forza 2 with me when I bought my TV and made them set that up for me as well, as before I drop a load of cash you can bet your ass I've going to test it first.
  8. Don't click on a thread entitled UCF/MMA then!
  9. Sounds a very good and very fair result to me Must admit that for all the negative stuff I've heard on here over the years about main dealers and NMGB in general being terrible, I've had nothing but completely positive experiences when dealing with them and warranty claims.
  10. I've only ever seen it online, I normally purchase from Frosts.
  11. And yes, I know that Noble isn't Noble anymore and that's not where the sub £60K car is coming from, but don't ruin my rant
  12. Does nothing for me, not at that price. I can appreciate the work gone into it, and the performance is stunning, but where's the sub £60K-911 beater we've been promised? I'd much rather see that than another stratospherically quick hypercar with an interior put together by a six year old.
  13. But what did you slip on? What shoes were you wearing? What speed where you walking at? If passing through water whilst wearing slippery shoes and then breaking into a gentle jog caused you to slip then that is your fault, and as a direct effect of your actions you slipped. I'm no fan of the compo-culture and blaming everyone, but even if you break stuff down into the most simplest of forms everything is always someone or something's fault. Always. I was under the car last week with the wheel off trying to put the wheel arch liner back in, when I smacked my knee on the rather sizeable and heavy brake disc. Hurt like buggery it did, and whilst it's technically an accident it was still my fault for not getting some help or trying it a different way or being a bit ham-fisted. I soon got over the initial OW-MY-GOD-MY-KNEE-MUST-BE-SMASHED-THE-WORLD-IS-ENDING kind of pain we all know only too well from working on cars, but pure accident? No way. Wind blows tree into house during storm? Shouldn't have let the tree grow there. Xbox RROD's in the middle of a 50+ kill streak in CoD? Shouldn't have left it running so long and/or blame MS for crappy building. Child runs into the road and gets hit by a car? Shouldn't have let the thing run loose without basic road knowledge. I could go on, but I guess the point has been made. That said, very well argued point Mega as I've had to write loads to counter it, so top marks for debating skills
  14. You mean Caterham, not Lotus I'm glad it's sorted now, as it means I don't even have to pretend I like Lotus in F1 anymore. I love their road cars, but Bahar's cheap methods of taking people to court and hiring Swizz Beats and generally acting like a c*nt makes my p*ss boil so he can f*ck off if he thinks I'm supporting his brand. My allegiances have been to Team Lotus in the last two years and will be Caterham from next season, and the Renaults can get stuck in the pit lane for all I care. And they'll always be Renaults to me as well, I don't care how much Lotus branding they stick on the car.
  15. Nothing happens without reason. Cause and effect and all that.
  16. But isn't slightly marked paint better then a burnt out car?
  17. Possibly, if you consider how much more flammable fleece and duvets are compared with plain ol' painted metal We're not doing anything with the Impreza and my truck. Whatever will be will be, I'd rather have a beer and put my feet up than worry about stuff out of my hands. You will note, however, that while the Scooby and Ford are parked out the front, my Beetle is safely in the garage

How is being factual splitting hairs? People sometimes get so defensive when it gets pointed out that they don't technically own a sports car but a sports coupe, but who cares? What do you think I drive, and do you think I'm bothered? You can have coupes and sports coupes y'know, and they are different. Sports cars do not have tin tops. End of.

The hardtop 350Z is a sports coupe, the Roadster is a sports car because it's a convertible with two seats and RWD. If it's not a convertible it can't be a sports car, but not all convertibles are sports cars. Keep up at the back

Depends how you drive it, I guess. I wouldn't say they're slow, more nippy if you go by my original list. Certainly they can be hustled very well down a country lane, but any modern diesel saloon will out-drag one these days. A 350Z isn't a sports car. Neither is the FT-86, nor a 911 or a Celica. An MX-5 is, a Boxster is, an S2000 is, a 350Z Roadster is etc.

2-seater, RWD, convertible. The very definition of a sports car, surely?

Only when it's running on all 8 cylinders and not in limp mode 3.9 for mine timed by C&D in the US with LC, not that it really matters. As I expect you find with yours, it's that mid-range shove that really makes the extra difference over something like the Zed where you really have to work the gears. What does the XKR redline at anyway?
