  1. Take it somewhere other than DMS for the tuning. Nine Excellence would be my preference. Ditch the wheels for some light BBS ones, pop some Cup brakes on there, sorted.
  2. Regardless of whether or not it's against forum rules, do you really think posting up a video for everyone to see that you're clearly speeding on UK roads is a good idea? Especially when your face is in it as well? Assuming, of course, this wasn't filmed in the IoM.
  3. On some cars, if the rear wheels are turning but the fronts aren't then it can put the car into limp mode, as it tries to protect the drivetrain because it thinks you're revving the car whilst it's stuck in snow or mud.
  4. A billion times better than the old ones. I couldn't even use them for more than 5 mins at a time as they make your ears ache, but the new ones are very comfy and have two speaker holes in each pod now. I don't know if that's something that all posh headphones have these days, but I didn't expect that. Very comfortable to wear, or at least they seemed to be. Sounds quality was very good, albeit a little bassy I think. That might be my settings though, I'd need to have a further play.
  5. Normally I'd agree and say that there's no way it'll sound like that, but given how noisy the 991 is with the sport exhaust on, I reckon it's just possible it may stay this way.
  6. It'll look exactly like this Sorry, but that front end is horribly busy. Far too many cooling ducts. It all looks a bit too droopy too, but that could just be the angles they've used.
  7. Oh my reason isn't tinfoil hattery, it's just because I prefer to have control of all my stuff at home so I know exactly what I'm doing with it. I bet Zedrush doesn't use iCloud because of the contact list
  8. For the same reason that people think paying £30K for a two seat car is utterly nuts, perhaps?
  9. £700 isn't a big budget for a gaming PC. It's not peanuts either, before I get accused of that!
  10. I was up at 4am Didn't start queueing until 5:45am, no need though this year as the queue was only 6 people by 8am Last year it was 50 deep by then and they started turning people away. Either everyone who wanted one pre-ordered, or no-one gives a toss about the launch. I genuinely don't know which one, given that sales records for it are through the roof.
  11. Not actually using it yet, they did offer to migrate my data for me in the O2 store (where I got it from) but I'd rather do that in my own time at home tonight. So I have no idea about iTunes server overloading (shouldn't though, never had an issue before) or migrating all my data as I'll restore it as a backup from my 4S.
  12. Got mine at 8:13am 'Tis nice. Seems lighter than the 4S by some margin, and the black/blue rear cover is lush
  13. Or PC Specialist. Get an i5, then as much RAM and as good a gfx card as you can afford. That'll do you for now.
  14. My missus is scholarly clever, but real world dumb. She can pass a degree with ease, but she has no idea what currency they use in the USA. Despite having been there twice.
  15. I don't use the Maps that much, but when I do I use them more for the actual sat view (so you can see where specific roads and buildings are) rather than as a direction tool (which I have the TT app for). It's frustrating, but as a whole I would say that the update is worth getting.
  16. Just to my 4S for now, by the time I tried putting it on the iPad2 last night the servers were being hammered. I still think the maps are sh*t, but as an overall improvement to the OS it's not bad. I think the use of Siri will become more important as I start understanding what it can actually do now, rather than just use it to set alarms.
  17. Heaven forbid someone should make an effort to try and be polite whilst still trying to help a member who has a somewhat 'distinct' posting style. FWIW I'm with Beavis, I can't understand half of what 4RE says these days. Not sure I'm missing much really, but then he probably thinks the same about me.
  18. At least it's not in Resale Grey or Raincloud Silver.
  19. Nope, you need to pay far more attention to them. It's now the Registered Keeper who is ultimately liable for the fines if they can't/won't name the driver, much like the S172 forms for speeding. Up until now it used to be that only the driver was liable for the parking charge, but the law is changing so that the companies can go directly after the RK.
  20. Safari is much, much quicker. And Siri is actually helpful now, unlike how it used to be. Panoramic photos are epic, too! Question: Why has it evolved into Apple vs Android, when really the Android folks should be arguing over which handset is better comparing the One X, S3 etc? Surely that's a fairer comparison, and far easier to do subjectively?
  21. Speed signage law must be obeyed. If it's missing (especially on a country lane where there would be no street lighting to enforce a 30) then you have a defence, and I'd have gone through the courts for that. Cameras don't have to be visible. Speed signs do. If you obey the speed signs then you'll never get prosecuted. I still cannot for the life of me fathom why people bother to speed in 30, 40 or 50 zones, or on the motorway network. It's not fun, and that's where they're looking to get you.
