  1. Ah, we tend to call that Porsche Pricing
  2. Seized, not ceased. No biggie, but they do mean different things and it took me a while to work out what you meant. It can happen, but you may have early onset of a failed or sticky caliper.
  3. 25% more power, what utter nonsense!
  4. Have a read up on the options available at the Porsche Experience Centre at Silverstone. Good range of cars covering all the bases (from a Cayenne to Boxster to RS4.0 and GT2RS!), and you've got a few track options to play with too. I'd love a go at the kickplate, supposed to be a real challenge in any car.
  5. 14 cars in 8 years is fine. The fact only two of them (Zed and 123d) have been any good is the disturbing thing. VXT to Hyundai coupe 1.6 must've been a bit of a culture shock!
  6. Someone's nicked your stereo mate.
  7. Without trying to be deliberately and irritatingly pedantic, you don't have to prove anything. They do, in court.
  8. Mixed tyres That's what happens when you get your talent/grip ratio incorrect. I feel quite sorry for the bloke really, I don't think he was driving particularly badly in terms of too fast or too ragged, just one of those things. There but for the grace of god go I and all that.
  9. See, I sit somewhere between the two. IF there has been plenty of attempts at communication AND IF the other party simply hasn't responded or has pretty much been abusive about the whole thing AND IF it's very clear via written and photographic evidence that I'd been led down the garden path, to a standard that I feel would stand up in court THEN AND ONLY THEN would I name and shame. If it was early days, or I'd been a bit naive, or I'd not got the required proof, or if indeed I failed any of my own tests above, then I'd keep quiet. That's my own moral viewpoint on trading full stop. Sometimes I've been sent stuff that was atrocious quality and I've had to send it back, but when I did the company was excellent about it so I felt no need to publicise it. Customer service isn't about when things go right, it's what happens when things go wrong.
  10. So do all cars, pretty much. Any car that loses less than 50% over three years is considered to be a good buy.
  11. Rebranding of V-Power so they can add a penny a litre and make more profits. /cynical
  12. Cheers fella, I'm getting quite excited by it now. Just hoping for some decent weather.
  13. To be honest, I don't really see why the team should get involved at all. If you protect yourself with a little bit of common sense, you'll be fine if all goes the way of the pear. The OP has done so here by paying via PP and not by gift, so this will have a good outcome. What people expect the team to do about things like this, I don't know
  14. No way can you get a full wrap done to a quality standard using quality materials for £500.
  15. To be fair, two weeks isn't great but they could be on holiday. If they've posted and/or read the PM it's a different matter.
  16. Might as well just put the Armourfend on it.
  17. All you need to do is claim via PP who will refund you quick-smart, then name and shame.
  18. Noooo the green ones are nice with the right interior
  19. Two seater, V8 convertible? I'd say they're comparable, even if Ferrari don't want to admit that. For £40K less, I'd take the Jag too.
  20. I do need some more of that, well reminded! I also need to grab a toll thingy for the French toll roads. I wasn't going to bother, but I'd rather just pass through them as quickly as possible and more importantly, not eat into my stash of Euros that I'll definitely need for the Spanish side tolls. Time to hit the Sanef site, methinks.
  21. They can damage the paint upon removal, yes. And a decent wrap is nigh-on the same cost as the equivalent spray job. I don't really see the point either, unless you can pick up a cheap car in Resale Silver and then wrap it to a decent colour. Now there's a good idea...
