Absolutely no downsides at all that i can see going from DE to HR. I've tracked back to back a DE revup ragtop and a HR coupe, and in every way that mattered the coupe was the better car. Lighter, quicker, hungrier for revs, better looking, the lot. Plus you can use 95RON, if you're a real tight-arse

Vettel is the most complete driver I've ever seen. Not as exciting or watchable as Senna or Lewis on a charge, but certainly deserves to be mentioned in the same breath as Schumacher for ruthless efficiency and the ability to get in a groove from the green light.

Hardly the dealer's fault. If people won't do their homework, or want the security of main dealer sales plus a posh showroom, then that's up to them. It was the only one near you, so they must've had a captive market somewhat. That's not ripping people off, that's maximising opportunity.

They're better than nothing by a long way, and they are very easy to work with. However, as Ewan says they're not particularly durable and the quality of the finish will never match a solid wax, but then they're much cheaper so a good option if on a really really tight budget (if you were on a budget that tight though, you probably wouldn't be driving a Zed!). Each to their own, they have their place but I would personally never use them.

As a daily driver, I prefer the Zed. As a weekend toy, I'd have the Stook in a heartbeat. Both amazing cars, and neither is a poor purchase.

Quick wash takes about 45 mins as I always do the wheels, tyres and glass too, but a full-on clean with wax is usually around 4-5 hours.

By the way, TBM = Two Bucket Method, one bucket with your warm water & shampoo in, and one with cold clean water to rinse mitt before loading up with shampoo water again. One panel at a time, i.e. load mitt, clean bonnet, rinse mitt, load mitt, clean bumper, rinse mitt etc.

Sounds about right. It is a massive OS update, after all. I like it. It seems a bit odd at first, but it's definitely more user-friendly than iOS6 was in terms of quick access to things. The only thing I'm not keen on is that the Phone screen seems to refresh itself after you've clicked on it but before it's usable, so that you see a name you want to call on your recent list and touch it, but by the time you get there it's refreshed to a different name. Odd, but not a deal breaker. You can argue over handset capability until you're blue in the face, but there's no doubting that iOS is still the best mobile OS available.

Snow foam isn't worth it in the slightest. Even after you've used it, you still need to use the TBM to actually clean the car. If a car was really, really, really filthy then I may use the foam as a pre-cleaner (I did on the Impreza after I came back from a very snowy and gritty trackday at Spa in March), but otherwise it's just another 20 mins of wasted time. A hose nozzle set at the appropriate spray setting will get rid of as much larger particles of dirt as you'd need.
