I assume this is referring to the three new hypercars potentially going round Dunsfold? I wouldn't be too sure on the P1 beating the 918 round there, as it's not a high speed track and there's a lot of slower corners which would favour 4WD over downforce. On a proper track like a Silverstone or a Monza the 918 wouldn't see which way the P1 went though.

Anyone can go fast in a straight line, it's being quick in the corners that's the real challenge.

Unless you really like modifying your car yourself, or have a ton of money you want to throw away, I'd just get a faster car. Hell, for the money you're talking you could get a Caterfield and use that for fun quick thrills.

The key is the prep. Use a decent pad (I like the Lake Country ones) with a light cutting agent like a Lime Prime, and then wipe off using a good microfibre. Apply your favourite wax by hand, then wipe off again. That'll give you a pretty decent start, at least. Buffing after a waxing isn't needed really, at that point you're just removing excess wax. All you need is a decent MF and you'll be sorted.

Stock for stock, I'd say the DC5 sounds better. A few tweaks though, and the V6 sounds better than any four pot ever could.
