My 888s can be used up to -9c
  2. Population of 11,053 here apparently, according to Wiki. Mold sounds heaving in comparison.
  3. Well, unless they do pubic styling, of course.
  4. Are you still in Essex? Can you tell? I don't even have any hair that needs a cut to try any of them!
  5. Having just moved to a new house in a new area, Jo and I decided to spend today exploring and seeing just the local amenities are like. I've only ever lived in one town for my previous 35 years on this planet, so this is new experience for me. We discovered that our new town has: - 10+ hairdressers - 5 betting shops - 2 small supermarkets - 2 butchers (with some very tasty looking meat, really must try some) - 2 very very very on the ball traffic wardens who don't f*ck about giving out tickets - 4 pubs - 1 wine bar! It's only a small town, but pretty much every third shop is a bloody hairdressers: I've no idea how there's enough business to keep them all going! Does anyone else love anywhere that has an excessive plethora of a single type of shop?
  6. Depends on the question that was asked, which we'll never know. Realistically, the bank aren't going to get involved, and they're certainly not going to refund the money unless ordered to. As far as their records go, the OP transferred one lump of cash to someone else's account: As it was only a small sum (in their terms!), they have no reason to question it.
  7. They could certainly follow it up if they wanted, but manpower.
  8. 100% scam. Anything that starts with "I'm in another country but XYZ is going to handle the sale for me" is a classic sign telling you to walk away. Sorry pal, but it looks like that cash has long gone. What was the website address?
  9. Why on earth would you buy a £300K Aventador and then have it painted resale grey? Green seats are nice, though.
  10. Answer my questions on my post above, and let's see what we can do for you.
  11. Don't sweat it, it's a very British thing. We all work hard and we all get very proud and show off our toys to our close mates and that's considered to be fine, but heaven forbid we should show those same toys to the wider interweb for fear of being labelled a show off.
  12. https://www.gov.uk/government/news/vehicle-tax-changes All on the website.
  13. So to be a bit more helpful this morning... 1. Where is/was the original advert? Post up the EXACT wording if you have it. 2. Who did you contact? Company name, person name and phone number. 3. How did the conversation go? What did you say, what did they say etc. 4. How did this 3rd party, Harvey's Auto Transport, come into the picture? 5. What's the eBay connection? 6. What communications have you had since you paid for the car? 7. How did you pay for the car? 8. What were the delivery instructions for the car? Now, I think I know most of that (you saw the ad on eBay originally, and now you've seen it relisted), but please answer them as precisely as you can, one at a time. The more detail you give, the more chance we have of working as a community and seeing if we can help you out here.
  14. But yeah, I'm coming across really harsh here, so I'll pipe down. Sorry OP, you must be gutted. Fingers crossed for you, and I hope it works out for the best.
  15. Perhaps, but surely when you're hunting around and every single car is priced at least £1500 higher, you cannot think that you've stumbled onto a bargain. I don't think I'm massively switched on, it's just common sense. Like finding a pair of Levi's for sale at the local market for £10.
  16. And on checking your first post, it mentions an 05 Zed. I'm sorry, but that really did have scam all over it. I'm sorry you've found out the hard way, I do hope you get your money back.
  17. Is this for real? I mean, do people actually do this? Unless it was a Cat C 03 import with 200k on the clock, the price must've sent some alarm bells ringing.
  18. Or they could've had different aftermarket clutches. Impossible to tell, unless you've a firm starting point.
  19. Meh, if you can afford £2k for the insurance then you can afford to run the car, just do it. I passed when I was 21, a month later I'd flogged my old 1.3 escort and bought a brand new 1.8 Focus. I felt like a god Do remember it's RWD though, not FWD like the car you learnt in. Wish someone had told that to me before I got my first proper car.
  20. Having done 176 in my old Pork, it wouldn't have taken very long for him to reach that speed in a tubby at all.
  21. I run BCs on the MR2, and on the BMW soon as well. Very good product
