  1. Rome is amazing, so much history to see but you'll need a few days to do it justice. I'm desperate to go back there, it's just stunning.
  2. Those doors are a completely different colour in those pics. I know they didn't get a spray (why?!), but they still stand out a mile. Go get 'em done mate, that really detracts from what is otherwise a lovely looking car.
  3. I would not expect the gearbox on a 370 to be quite as good as that on a Z4 (E89, yes?), but then neither would I expect it to feel too far off. I wouldn't worry too much about that side of things, if you're happy with your current Z then the new Z will be more of the same
  4. Didn't see that coming, great result!
  5. Well, it's looking good for the Welsh so far!
  6. Not really, no. Approved trader really only means who is prepared to pay the most money for the right to say that, it doesn't mean that your service as a consumer is going to be any better
  7. Pretty much, but it's really like this: Customer buys product, product turns out to be faulty. Customer returns product. Trader then gives refund or sorts replacement. He then becomes the customer with whoever he purchased it from: That may be the manufacturer, or it may be another supplier. They then have to refund or replace, and so on and so forth. They cannot tell them to do one, unless they're crooks and can hide from the law.
  8. They can send it to whoever they want, ultimately it's their responsibility to get it sorted.
  9. Just to be a pedantic PITA (I know, me?!), but that wouldn't matter here as the SOGA would override any manufacturer warranty at this point. Really, they're pretty much useless as your contract is with the person who sold it to you, not who made it. If it's non-compatible, then you are due a refund. But yes, I would only ever buy parts from a reputable dealer in this country: You only get bitten once to learn from that mistake.
  10. What a waste of time. People know it's illegal to use a phone, they'll just ignore it. Same thing with speed signs: You know the rule, but you do it anyway.
  11. More PCars stuff, PS4 this time but a better look at other stuff rather than the obvious: The HUD customisation looks superb, and very much welcome. I think the racing looks more positive in this, the physics look better, so I'm a little happier. I think the scenery in general is worse than F5 or DC, and tbh the regular driving when it's just daytime doesn't look any better than either of those titles: It's looks washed out and plain. The rain stuff still looks immense though.
  12. I know the stability uses the ABS to brake individual wheels, but I always thought the traction was done by spark cut as it always felt so incredibly harsh. Throttle body control could do that too though, so I bow to your superior knowledge on this one, thanks
  13. The 350Z I believe (and I do stand to be corrected on this one) will cut fuel at the rev limiter, but will cut the spark for the TCS.
  14. Yup, you've almost certainly accidentally clicked a filter by mistake.

Manufacturers are bound by the safety rules imposed by various bodies around the world, including the EU. Given that they have to have certain things like pedestrian crash zones etc, it's not surprising that a lot of stuff looks broadly the same. Pretty much the same as F1 give or take, they all look identical until you start looking at them very closely.
  16. So how did he miss his train? Platform change? Sorry bud, but I don't see this being anyone's fault but your son's. I may be biased working at an airport, but why people don't think to check the signs that are everywhere regarding changes to their itinerary is beyond me. You can ask them nicely, but they'll just point out that plenty of other people managed to make the time on time on the right platform.
  17. There is kit that will do that, but ultimately it's not very flexible and it's usually expensive.
  18. The D1 had multiple modes as well, but they all pretty much ruined the driving experience for me. Don't get me wrong, they're great at first and do exactly what you want, but then ultimately as you learn the car and gain confidence a twitchy throttle can really upset the balance.
  19. Did I ever tell you how Mouthwash hates sarcasm and you've just earned yourself a collection of garden gnomes? I freakin' love garden gnomes!
  20. You could try the D1, but I took mine out after a few months on the 350. Yes, it does what it says, but it's so binary with it that it actually made the car worse to drive. Please don't take this the wrong way, but you just need to learn to push the pedal down harder. I had to with mine, and when it kinda clicked it was so much better. Perseverance, my old chum.
  21. But what was the code? Was it for low efficiency catalyst, or was it for something else? What did Abbey do when you took it back to them?
  22. Okay, any more details? What was the engine light? Do you have O2 sensor extenders fitted?
