  1. Not sure if serious...
  2. Apart from the moronic bit about sticking with OE Bridgestones, and that the prices are now out of date, it's a good albeit basic guide.
  3. We should make a championship out of it. The 350Z-UK National Car Cleaning Championships, or summat.
  4. If you want to drive it then sure, buy it and enjoy, and then sell it for whatever you can when you're done. Don't expect miracles upon resale and you won't be disappointed. Only takes one muppet to bin it into you and your profit has gone...
  5. It does, but are tiny stone chips uglier than a slab of plastic film? I'm not so sure.
  6. Pointless. Makes the car uglier as it IS noticeable (I've worked with both cheap stuff and the good stuff like Armourfend etc, and you can definitely see it), plus it'll still stone chip and then it's impossible to repair. Given the cost of the stuff + fitting, it works out cheaper to just get a front end respray every couple of years if you're that bothered.
  7. You'll need to hold onto it for a long time before that appreciates to any great level. I'm talking 20+ years here, minimum. It would need to be immaculate and with very low mileage too, along with a complete & perfect FASH. Tbh unless you're getting it for a song I wouldn't bother.
  8. Good effort Now chuck it in the bin, as these things look awful on cars
  9. Corsa with a huge bodykit and bean can exhaust
  10. SC won't generate that much extra heat, you won't need any additional venting on the bonnet. Unless you want it just for looks, of course.
  11. '04 import with no service book? Cheap as chips, I suspect. Service book means nothing really, if you've got the actual paperwork from the services for the last few years then that's good enough for me.
  12. So you're after a car that's all about the show, for £30k?
  13. I had to search back a handful of pages to figure out what the hell you were on about But yeah, £2 each or 8 for £20. Bargain.
  14. Exactly how I felt. I never got 911s at all, until I drove one. That was an absolute game-changer for me, in terms of my petrolhead life. I WILL have another one, someday. Hopefully a gen2 non-S with a manual 'box and no PASM, in Guards Red.
  15. Last I knew they were sitting at £35k, hang on... *checks PH* There's a gen2 4S on there for £34,990 http://www.pistonheads.com/classifieds/used-cars/porsche/911-carrera-997/porsche-911-carrera-4s/3853212
  16. If they were £30k, I'd have one now!
  17. In fairness, they're offering UP TO 40% increase, which you will definitely get with just a remap.
  18. Including internet forums?
  19. Yes, absolutely possible. As long as you have the turbo kit to go with it.
  20. Out of the two choices, Vantage. In reality, it'd be a 987.2 Cayman S. Or maybe a TTRS.
  21. London to Brighton? Just park it at Marble Arch and the front end will be half way down the M23 anyway, it's that long
  22. Everyone without harnesses should have one of these. I run them on all my vehicles, truck included. £35 from DT if you use a car club discount in person
