  1. They should be allowed, I just don't think they should take it. Don't see why not if there is better regulation, after all someone with a more expensive car would be paying more insurance in the first place... maybe some kind of incentive if you downscale possibly? Because every time someone takes an expensive courtesy car, every single person pays for it with their premiums. If folks only ever took the cheapest thing, like an Aygo, then premiums would come down.
  2. What the hell is hyper-foreignism??!!
  3. Looks like a Peugeot.

  5. Big money. Next time you have an accident, and get offered/need a courtesy car, think about taking the cheapest piece of crap you can. You'll be helping everyone to get cheaper car insurance in the future. Not you as in you Dajw, you as in everyone. Me included.
  6. 1. Spend 8 hours the day before cleaning car 2. Watch it rain overnight 3. Car gets filthy on way to show 4. Bring QD & MFs with you 5. Attempt to clean as best you can 6. Realise no-one gives a rat's ass 7. Get on with actually enjoying yourself
  7. Hah, that pic is excellent!
  8. Apart from some of Verstappen's moves, I really thought it was a yawn fest. Nico is a crying little whinge bag, if you don't want to get caught by the car behind then overtake the car in front!
  9. Understeer can be sorted with geo & tyres.
  10. Of course there's no offence being committed: How can there be, for forging something that no longer exists, especially when it's very clear that it's a fake? Your mate's an idiot for trying that, btw.
  11. Another dull race tbh. Again, I'm glad Lewis won, but it wasn't remotely exciting. I just hope Alonso and Button are enjoying their last seasons in F1.
  12. Not sure if serious...
  13. Apart from the moronic bit about sticking with OE Bridgestones, and that the prices are now out of date, it's a good albeit basic guide.
  14. We should make a championship out of it. The 350Z-UK National Car Cleaning Championships, or summat.
  15. If you want to drive it then sure, buy it and enjoy, and then sell it for whatever you can when you're done. Don't expect miracles upon resale and you won't be disappointed. Only takes one muppet to bin it into you and your profit has gone...
  16. It does, but are tiny stone chips uglier than a slab of plastic film? I'm not so sure.
  17. Pointless. Makes the car uglier as it IS noticeable (I've worked with both cheap stuff and the good stuff like Armourfend etc, and you can definitely see it), plus it'll still stone chip and then it's impossible to repair. Given the cost of the stuff + fitting, it works out cheaper to just get a front end respray every couple of years if you're that bothered.
  18. You'll need to hold onto it for a long time before that appreciates to any great level. I'm talking 20+ years here, minimum. It would need to be immaculate and with very low mileage too, along with a complete & perfect FASH. Tbh unless you're getting it for a song I wouldn't bother.
  19. Elise/Exige.
  20. Good effort Now chuck it in the bin, as these things look awful on cars
  21. Corsa with a huge bodykit and bean can exhaust
  22. SC won't generate that much extra heat, you won't need any additional venting on the bonnet. Unless you want it just for looks, of course.
  23. '04 import with no service book? Cheap as chips, I suspect. Service book means nothing really, if you've got the actual paperwork from the services for the last few years then that's good enough for me.
  24. So you're after a car that's all about the show, for £30k?
  25. I had to search back a handful of pages to figure out what the hell you were on about But yeah, £2 each or 8 for £20. Bargain.
