  1. That's incredibly reasonable, y'know. Good idea
  2. Very hard to knock the price down on a car that's immaculate.
  3. I heart my Bigfoot very much For some situations, it's absolutely perfect and knocks spots off even my Makita.
  4. And how will people know when the shops open to go collect their watches?!
  5. I'd rather own 1 DAS6 than 5 of these. Much better value for money, and perfect for beginners.
  6. No, it's all down to the person using it. That said, you wouldn't put Lewis Hamilton behind the wheel of a Corsa and expect him to win a grand prix, would you?
  7. And I guess the solicitor costs aren't cheap either If you've been offered £7800, take it mate, that's only £150 less than asking which is what anyone would haggle off anyway.
  8. Pop the wheel off and look inside, the sizes are stamped to the wheel. You're looking for 8J or 8.5J.
  9. If people really want to queue, then let them. The rest of us can then continue using all available lanes correctly.
  10. Work out the difference. If you can spend £500 but make £1000 more because of it, then you're £500 up so it's a good idea. If you're going to come off even then I'd still do it anyway as it'll make it easier to sell, but if you're going to come out down then it's not worth it. Personally, if I rock up to view a car and the seller hasn't disclosed just how bad the bodywork is, then I'm going to be extremely annoyed at wasting my time and will definitely be walking away. On the other hand, if you tell me exactly how bad it is then unless it's up for a bargain price I'm not coming to view in the first place. At this point, and given 350Z values, you're either going to have to let it go for about £1500 under list OR get the work done.
  11. Erm, no. They're airing the recorded bits only, and they won't be full episodes. http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/entertainment-arts-32407514
  12. To me it sounded expensive, tbh. I bought one once, many years ago. Tried it on one panel, realised it was a crock of shite, and threw it away.
  13. Years ago when I had the VXR, over on the .org forum there were some claims about John's dyno giving some dodgy power figures on the turbos, which he put down to the dyno slipping when running the NA cars but not the turbos I took my car to TMS though, had great service and I'd have gone back there again. Not cheap, but then good never is.
  14. Does John still have the dodgy dyno that copes with VXT power levels, but lets VX NA cars slip? /old VX.org thread
  15. I've driven down the empty outside lane approaching a roundabout before when I wanted to turn left, passing all the queuing traffic then going right round the roundabout and taking the exit I wanted. Not entirely cricket, that.
  16. Truth is that we've all been the caravan driver at some point (usually in central London) where you stick your nose in and hope the other person lets you in. The difference is that we've all backed out when that gap didn't appear, and waited for the next person.
  17. Caravan driver shouldn't have pulled over, end of. There was no gap, so he had no right to do so. The lorry driver should've let him in really, but realistically no-one in their right mind would argue with a 30 ton artic!
  18. Now that is a great link. If everyone saw that, life would be much easier.
  19. In theory I agree, it should make no difference. However, in reality it's definitely quicker. Try it next time, I bet you get home faster
