  1. Look at the blades: They're the V8 ones. It needed the bigger blades for the bigger intake/cooling requirements for the engine. The exhaust tips can be changed, but no way you'd put the smaller blades on. /R8 geek
  2. Try going back. I can promise you that you'll notice the difference

They really have, haven't they? It's like going back to the '90s with all the ricer cars, and not in a good way.
  4. Tbh bud it looks like that was a particularly badly run day with all that aggressive diving up the inside at corners, and every TDO I've been with would've cracked down on that straight away. I forgot that CC is an overtake on the RHS circuit though, haven't been there for ages. Overtaking should really be by consent only, especially when you have mixed abilities and car speeds like that. Come and do a normal day with the rest of us, you'll love it

    Run flats on Rays

Runflats are like AIDS for wheels. Bad AIDS.
  6. You can tell the differences very easily on the road too, if you're remotely into your driving as opposed to pooling to the shops. That doesn't make the change the wrong thing to do, as 19" wheels do look much better on the car, it's just making sure you're happy with the compromise. Worth remembering that 19" tyres are significantly more than 18" ones too, if you're a bit heavy on them

As much as I love the way the Evora drives, I couldn't own anything that ugly or with that awfully designed interior in terms of switchgear locations. In that respect, I know exactly what you mean when you say you wouldn't want a Cayman. The heart wants what the heart wants. We all knew there were 'better' cars out there when we bought our Zeds, that didn't stop us loving them and having super awesome funtimes with them
  8. It will make your car slower to accelerate, increase braking distances, and reduce agility when turning. It will also increase ride harshness with the lower profile tyres.
  9. For the love of god... Of course you should call the police if you see a crashed car! And unless you can see it's clearly a minor tap in a safe place and the occupant is okay, then 999 is the correct number to use.
  10. Sounds to me like you just need a NOW TV box. Covers off watching GoT and Sky Living. £6.99 pcm + the box, and hopefully you have a decent interwebs connection (what speed?). Nothing else can give you this, apart from yarring the stuff you want to watch but I'm guessing that's not an option.
  11. Okay, that bit wasn't there when I replied. Where did you get that from? Construction & Use?
  12. You can tint the rear glass (both the hatch and rear quarter) as dark as you want, no issues there at all in either taste or law. It's the side glass and windscreen that fall under the law mentioned.
  13. Work harder, earn more money, keep Sky. Job's a carrot
  14. Possibly. The issue is that when you start a car up, all the oil is in the bottom of the sump so none of the important bits have any oil on them at all. Now, in practice we know that's not quite true as unless the car has been sat for years then oil finds a way of coating everything, but the coating will be massively reduced. In a perfect world you'd never do it, but in the real world you can't do anything about it so I wouldn't be worrying.
  15. Tbh I'd talk with my wallet and just go elsewhere. The only option you've really got is to change back to stock, OEM is 87 or less but that's a ballache to do every time.
  16. Don't say that, that's where my mate just bought his Gallardo from! Tbh a modern engine shouldn't have any issues with that, not these days.
  17. They check the revs, not the position of your foot
  18. The bungs on the K1 bought it down from 102 to 98 ish from memory, tested at Woodbridge by javelin. You sure that's not 90 drive-by? That's awfully low otherwise, most cars are going to above that on the static.
