  1. Right, that wasn't hugely clear. Tbh if he'd been playing on his phone I would've walked out long before. I've told Nissan to get stuffed over the phone before with regards to attitude when I was looking at a GT-R, but then I've also accepted crap service when there's something I really want to buy because I know I can get a good deal.
  2. But you still walked out of the office take a call, then expected him to come out and find you despite the previous conversation between the pair of you about giving you space? Sorry bud, this really is cutting your nose off to spite your face here. Your money, your choice though, of course.
  3. So the bloke said he'd give you space, you went back outside to take a phone call, then never bothered going back in to actually buy the thing? That's after you said you were happy with it in your own mind and wanted to buy it, correct? I don't get things like that. If I want something I'll make a bit of effort too. It's like expecting Tesco to drive round with a van full of food after they've seen me browsing their website.
  4. There was no bias that I saw, again attacking the audience was a really, really daft move. He had a real chance to prove that he's more than a collection of angry shouty words and instead he set himself up as unelectable. Huge shame. There are times in politics to be honest, and there are times to tone it down a bit. You can go hell for leather during PMQs, but during a national debate where everyone is going to be looking for easy point-scoring, that's when you play the game a bit. BoJo is excellent at that. The only upside to seeing Miliband as PM will be that Dave will hopefully step down and let Sir Boris take the reigns.
  5. GT4 is a pointless car unless you want yellow. Far too high a premium. Revup has the better interior, which is worth the entry fee alone. The 500rpm makes more of a difference to the drive than you think, far more than the extra 20bhp does. 99% of performance bits are swappable between the De and Revup. Some Revup cars can use a bit of oil, but these days the ones that do have already bust an engine so it's not something I'd hugely worry about. Just as many DE cars going pop because they've been run on 95RON as Revup cars burning oil. So yeah, either stick with the DE cars to save the cash or get a proper Revup.
  6. Farage didn't do himself any favours in the debates, though. Whilst I get his point about stopping health tourism, it's hardly a huge drain on resources here and neither is it a very easy thing to argue for when everyone else is ready to paint you as the bad guy. He's the best debater by far out of all the leaders, but he dug his own grave there.
  7. Cars should naturally steer to the left on standard UK roads, due to the camber on them to remove water. It's only slight, but it's there. Best way to check your alignment is to drive on the wrong side of the road, car should then drift right.
  8. UKIP aren't against foreigners.
  9. Half the trouble is that people don't vote for who they want to win, they vote tactically. That's why the smaller parties never really have a chance, unless they get lucky with a charismatic leader on a TV show like Cleggy last year. One of my mates is a Lib or Green supporter according to VFP, but he's going to vote Labour just to try and keep the Tories out. That's a wasted vote for me, as he's not actually voting for his party of choice. That's why they never get in.
  10. NOTA (is that even an abbreviation?) is just a cop out. Given that the political spectrum is wider than ever with UKIP and the SNP making very good gains, I cannot see how someone cannot find a party that falls with their values. You may not agree with every single policy, but you probably agree with enough to give them your vote. I would hope that both the PR and the Scot vote are once in a lifetime referendums, as otherwise it just makes a mockery of it. If people didn't understand the difference between PR and FPTP, then that's just one of those things. I don't think it wasn't understood, more that the vocal minority managed to get a referendum on something that actually very few people gave a toss about changing. Absolutely with you on compulsory voting, though.
  11. We had that referendum already, and nobody wanted PR. We're not the Scots y'know, just voting until we get the answer we want
  12. None of the above should never be an option, IMHO. If you don't like what's there, then get out and put yourself forward and make the difference. It's too easy to say they're all the same but they're really not. There's a lot of politicians that I wouldn't trust, but there's plenty of decent ones too.
  13. Only in the country from where you purchased the item, if in the EU. Like when you go to France and buy cigs, if you will. If outside the EU, then you have to pay VAT and import duty, I believe. Like when you buy bumpers from the USA. As has been said, until you hit the VAT limit, you do not have to charge it, but neither can you claim it back on purchases from the UK. Tarmac's response was perfectly worded and factually correct. I'm happy to be corrected on any of the above, too. Back on subject, this is well worth getting. If I had a Zed, I'd have one.
  14. And the economy is now stronger than it ever was before Black Wednesday. These crashes seem horrendous at the time, but ultimately they mean very little a few years later.
  15. Oh yeah! *facepalm* Nice one, cheers dude
  16. Nope, totally lost. Chuck it in some spoiler tags.
  17. Wait, Andy Serkis was in it?!
  18. I need to see the film again, just to make sure it was as awesome as I think it was.
  19. Interesting to see that Miliband completely ruled that out last night. A brave move, as now he's 100% reliant on getting more seats than the Tories and moving in with Clegg.
  20. ConLib, without a doubt. It's worked perfectly as far as I can see, considering the differences between them.
  21. Coffee, meet keyboard

    REMAPPING

Agreed, that would be about right for labour only (so road mapping), but not for dyno as well.
  23. I don't get it. Is this a joke, or for real? It's either not funny, or I'm not sure what the issue is.
