Drop the s from the https Power is nothing without control. Zero point adding bags of power if you can't use what you've already got, IMHO. You could throw £5K at the car to SC it or turbo it or whatever, and then after you're done sell it for half that. Alternatively, you could spend £2.5K on driver training and be quicker, smoother and safer not only with this car, but with every car you'll ever own. Skill for life, yo. You could do half on the training and then half on some suspension bits & tyres, and then be seriously quick.

Nice You're right of course, a DSLR will give far more freedom with regards to DoF etc, but it's also stopping you creating something really decent due to the lack of recording speed. Maybe a compromise, get a decent video camera instead? Or even better, just get the GP and use it to add to your filming, not to replace the DSLR with it. Best of both worlds then, plus you have the GP for when you go drifting

What DSLR are you using, then? For what you've done so far, a GP would've produced an equally as good finish whilst giving you more options when editing.

If the oil level is fine, and the pressure reads somewhere over 0 on the gauge, then every thing is fine.

I jest, of course. We were going to put up my old 55" one in the bedroom but it was just too big for the wall, as the door would've opened into it and that was never going to end well. Ended up buying a new LG 46" one dirt cheap from Curry's instead, seems to do the job okay.

For filming? Yeah, easy. My GoPro pisses all over my D90 for stuff like that, as the Nikon just isn't designed for video.

Think I pay about £85 pcm. Maybe I could get rid of the movies, but sod's law says that the one time I get rid of them... I need the sports for F1, and the HD package is a must. Multiroom too, which bumps the price up a tad.

Time for a new camera then! Should be able to pick up a GoPro cheap enough these days, even my '3 can do 60fps which would be enough to run at half speed and still look normal. I'd love to see you get some moving car shots in next time, I think you'd be very good at that

Remind me what speed 4th at 4500rpm is? Not trying to start an argument over speeding, just trying to work something out. What intake are you running? Any codes? Cleaned MAF recently?
