  1. There's always an idiot out there somewhere. It'll be someone else who'll fall for this, sadly.
  2. So yeah, the same thing. Never heard them referred to that before.
  3. Remote? Do you mean rear mounted?
  4. Cracking write up fella, looks like you had an amazing time With regards to the ABS/TCS issue, did you have TCS on at the time? Were you doing any braking when this happened?
  5. There's a very good reason for that...
  6. I think we've all missed something in this, myself included: After 2 months it's irrelevant as to what kind of warranty you have with the warranty company, as at that point I'd be asking the business you bought from to repair under SOGA. Now, whether that's pattern parts or OEM is up to them, but they should still fix it REGARDLESS of what warranty option you have, or even if you bought one.
  7. Ah, I thought it wasn't, I must be confusing cars Not that that will help mind, it's out regardless so really nothing that can be done unless you find a cluster that has more or less the same miles on and swap.
  8. In that case, I have no idea! Pretty sure the mileage is kept on the ECU as well on the 350, so swapping clusters wouldn't help. If it's working now then I'm not sure what can be done, the only thing you can do is keep a note of the mileages and explain the issue should anyone ask when you come to sell it.
  9. Welcome along My first question would be are you 100% sure that last year's MOT reading was correct? I'd suspect that a fat finger typing that in is much more likely than the main odometer not working correctly. Easy to test too, just go for a drive and see if it moves.
  10. Oh man, are you going to really love the car when you put some decent tyres on, you'll be astounded just as to the amount of grip and feel this car can give you
  11. It's an excellent ad, it really is. I suspect the price might be a little off putting, given the damage history, however personally that wouldn't bother me if I was in the market for something like this. It looks to be a great and very honest car, and I love the yellow calipers. Really hope this sells soon, I think it deserves to.
  12. The race cars do. Manufacturers will, if they want to be allowed on. Road cars will on TF days if they don't want to jeopardise those days.
  13. Good. Ring times are ultimately pointless, I'll be glad to see the back of them tbh, manufacturers shouldn't be using them as a way of benchmarking their cars.
  14. No, it won't. Spoilers on road cars in general are for looks only, they may reduce lift ever so slightly but not to any degree that any normal person at normal speeds (myself included) would ever notice.
  15. Alignment should be checked at least once a year, if not 6 monthly if your local roads are crap. Those tyres are garbage, please don't put such horrible things on such a decent car No way in hell you can guarantee the car won't be driven in the rain, and besides which they're just as crap in the dry
  16. Well, at least we can rule out the piggyback then. Bad earth?
  17. Take the piggyback off, see what happens.

    Too much?

    Not just you, very odd!
  19. I wouldn't trust any government to run a bath, much less car insurance.
  20. Sounds like the perfect series to me, except you forgot the episode where I drive the Macan and proclaim it as really very good indeed
  21. None of them, really. May is a bit dull, but Hammond loves Porsches so clearly he's my favourite. It's TG I don't like, rather than the individuals.
  22. I like Clarkson! His written stuff is brilliant, and he's ace on TV too.
  23. Oh hell no, I'm far too irritating to be on TV
  24. I really walked into that one there, didn't I?!
