  1. @Sharkmatt: That's a great list bud, but do you realise you've not put a single reliable vehicle in there? What would use for a daily drive? Not being picky, I'm genuinely curious as to how you would use each of them
  2. Even I'm bored of pointing out that no electric car will ever be as fun for me as something light with a petrol engine and RWD. I'd rather have a nice mk1 MX5 than a P85S Tesla, and I genuinely mean that. It's the same reasoning behind why I'd like to drive a 1000bhp GT-R for a day, but I'd rather own a 100bhp Caterham for life. Each to their own, and maybe EVs are the future, but it's not a future I'll ever see in my lifetime nor do I wish to. I'm a petrolhead: The clue is in the name.
  3. Paddles yes, sequential no. Just a standard torque converter.
  4. Fair enough. What a hero you truly are, sir!

    Zedified seats.

Yup, definitely different. Tbh I hadn't even noticed, good spot chaps.
  6. What did I do now? There's plenty of good roads in Britain. If your map is so good, why don't you share it with everyone?
  7. It's not pointless. A phone isn't a watch, and a watch isn't a phone. They compliment each other, not replace each other.
  8. I was in the blue MR2 mk3, I passed you and gave a wave but I think you thought I might be mental
  9. Pretty sure they're all slush boxes, no sequential boxes are available.
  10. No, it works with the phone. That's kinda the point

    At last Alfa! ...

Great success! It DOES come with a manual! :D
  12. It might, but it won't cure it. Sadly you're going to have to hope and pray it holds, until you get home and then it's a slightly more expensive job
  13. Couple of O2 extenders should do the trick. If they don't then just get taller ones made or stick two extenders together.
  14. Ah, ok. Unless you experience any issues yourself, I wouldn't bother; It seems to be very car-dependant on whether any niggles crop up. Then again, I wouldn't fit HFCs without a remap as you're still wasting your money, unless you're desperate for that little extra noise over the regular cats. A decent exhaust and intake would do a better job with the noise than the HFSc will though.
  15. I'd only remap after all breathing mods are done, else you're wasting your money.
  16. True, WW would've said that he'd seen the Queen drifting like a boss the other week outside Kensington so clearly women are the better drivers.
  17. 3.6 997.2 non-S manual for £36K 4.4 M6 DCT for £50K 1.8 S2 Elise for £14K That's the all day sports car, the big power GT, and the track car sorted. I need nothing else.
  18. My initial thoughts are that it's in your head, if I'm honest. Easy way to check though, do some timed runs between 30 and 70 in 3rd gear and see if there's any noticeable change. If there is, then you know you have a problem somewhere. No lights or clutch slippage sounds to me like a mental thing though, and the current temps (in the south, at least) won't help with power.

    Zedified seats.

Ta Why have you covered up the wind deflector?
  20. Gotcha. If you've not changed the cams at all, and the chain is lined up, then there should be no need to redo the map. However, checking the map is still on there would seem a good idea.
  21. So you've put new cams on, but didn't get it remapped? Silly question, are you sure the chain is aligned correctly?
  22. Bit of artistic licence there, it was actually Taylor Swift N.W.A. Nowt wrong with a bit of the Swift, I'm off to see her and her marvellous legs music tomorrow.
