  1. I guess the MPSS are okay, if you like that sort of thing. MPSS will give you around 1.5x the mileage. That's reason enough alone to consider them, the fact they're also give immense feel in both wet and dry conditions can be seen as a bonus. They are the pinnacle of performance tyres right now.
  2. Seeing as how your posts are pretty unintelligible, that's actually going to be easier than you think. Sorry, I was at a wedding all day yesterday and missed this bag 'o fun, but no way am I passing up an open goal like that.
  3. I was trying to work out if the keyboard was broken, a cat was walking across it at the time, or if he was typing with his elbows
  4. Ah, I see now. You young rapscallions, you!
  5. Oops, missed your reply, sorry! That's not actually as bad as I thought it was going to be, y'know. I half expected you to say £12K or something daft!
  6. Jap car magazine in loving Jap car shocker
  7. Yup, fraud. Dishonestly misrepresenting the situation for personal gain. Fraud. Dress it up however you want, if it makes you feel better. I'm sure it has been done before, doesn't make it right. Would you also be happy to steal something from the shelf? After all, they're a big company and can clearly afford it, eh?
  8. Brilliant, your answer is to lie? That's called fraud.
  9. Lotus forum? You on SELOC as well by any chance?
  10. Also, that's a very tasteful plate whilst still being personal, good job
  11. You cannot make a car look newer. That reg is for a 1997 car, so is fine.
  12. ...is the correct answer. Couple of weeks you'd be okay with, but two months is stretching it a bit. I'd go in store on a quiet day, ask to speak to a manager, and get some kind of rapport going so he feels sorry for you and helps you out.
  13. Exactly why. That will be 99.9% styling.
  14. 2 month warranty is irrelevant, the SOGA overrides anything there so you have 6 mths where the dealer has to prove the car was fine before you bought it, not you having to prove something broke. Haggle down as far as you can, take the spare cash and put it into a rainy day fund. Even £1K should cover most things going pop, this side of a complete engine failure which is hideously unlikely. These are very reliable cars, we don't really get any big issues on them. It handles like any FR car does in winter, i.e. not very well unless the driver drives to the conditions. Some will insist you must put winter tyres on or you'll die, others (like me) just slow down a bit and understand that crap weather isn't the time to be hooning. It'll be fine though, just use your head and you'll be okay. Unless you mean how does the physically survive when parked outside in the winter, in which case it'll be absolutely fine. This is no longer the 1970s, we don't have to worry about cars rusting away underneath us any more
  15. Sorry, are you suggesting someone has designed either the front or the rear end at all? Intentionally? It just looks to me like someone's taken a parts catalogue and thrown it all together to me. Still, that seat looks good at least. Having said that, Civics never were pretty cars. Hey, I was trying to be polite Tbh, I think it's a nice thing that they let the care in the community experience kids have a go at designing these things.
  16. Well said Jerrick. Not all suspension works for every driver, even if it is technically superior. That Meister R suspension components can even come close to a massive manufacturer like Bilstein is a huge achievement in itself: To surpass their performance on track (if they do!) is massive. As Jerrick says, a lot of this is subjective anyway, but this is still an entertaining and worthwhile thread.
  17. That really is a design shambles. Did the guys designing the front not speak to the guys designing the back? Or were they having a competition to see who could fit the most angles on the car?

    Over fenders

Grundy is pro-fenders. It's me that thinks they look like tacky stuck on chav that
  19. Don't decorate until you've run a load of Cat5e to every room in the house.
  20. Looks good for a test fit, now all you need to do is take it off and put it on straight.
