  1. Everything! The shape. The colour. The outline colour. How it looks on the rear. It belongs on a riced up Civic, not a 911.
  2. Bizarre, they look like 20" at least. Very good optical illusion, must be the style.
  3. How big are they? They look huge!
  4. Much like everything else he does, this is purely for self publicity. He's a cocksocket of the highest order, but he knows how to get a headline.
  5. Oh no, please don't Hugh, that looks terrible mate
  6. No idea, never used one. I'm sure a quick Google will tell you, though.
  7. Best engine in any car I've ever driven. Good luck mate, she looks an absolute peach of a car.
  8. Or Black Circles, or Pneus Online, or Asda (got my MPSS from them in Feb, they were dirt cheap!)...
  9. It's not Sunset, it was a genuine option for the 997. Never seen one in the UK though! Irritatingly I can't remember the name of it now.
  10. 230Nm is pretty much FT, so give it what you can with a torque wrench then give a bit more.
  11. With Grundy, it's usually a bumper or bits of engine!
  12. Locking wheels nuts are a terrible idea unless you have a Rolls Royce on 24" blingy wheels, they just lead to issues. Don't bother with them, no-one steals OEM wheels any more.
  13. Nope, my facepalm as I read your post wrong: I thought you meant a tyre review thread, not a tyre purchase place thread. My apologies! Tbh a places to buy tyres from thread is pretty much redundant as soon as it starts, as prices change every month so in a few weeks one retailer could go from awesome to expensive.
  14. It looks utterly horrendous. The bumper, not the exhaust.
  15. You cannot reject until they've had a chance to repair. If you don't give them that chance then court action may well fail.
  16. I've got MGSV on order too, digital though so no chance of getting it early
  17. Cue the flood of "Spacers made my car slow!" and "Spacers make no difference!" posts. They will make a difference. You can feel it. If the trade off is worth it then go ahead, some don't care and some do. As for me, I'll only fit them if I'm not adding any weight over stock.
  18. Ah, the shopping trolley PS. If you're happy with them then stick with them on the rear, however don't mix tyres front to back. If you want a change, then change all four.
  19. Then I probably wouldn't be wearing a race suit, it'll just get uncomfortable. Cracking idea, but a lot of effort! Smart suit of the period is the usual attire. If you really do want to go in the suit, then just wear comfortable shoes as it's a lot of walking, and as for logos remember that they didn't actually wear them back then as a rule
  20. You know you didn't break it. You have your facts, stick to them. He may well get his mate round the corner to fix it, that's his choice. As long as it is fixed, that's all that matters ultimately. He should fix it in a reasonable time. Depending on what needs doing, that may be 1-2 weeks, but it would be that wherever you went. It's a little vague, but case law is key here. Trust me, you're 100% in the right at this point. If he refuses to fix, then write him a letter stating the problem and that you expect him to repair, and to reply within 7 days. If he still doesn't, then you start small claims court proceedings as it's a slam-dunk win.
