  1. Hang on, let's go back here. I can guess at some of the answers, but let's get them clarified in one place anyway. When did you buy the car? From a dealer, yes? Mileage & year? What price did you pay? (Yes, this is all relevant to the naysayers!). When did you notice the problem? When did you let them know there was an issue? What did they do when you told them? Are they declining to fix unless you cough up? My initial thoughts are that this has SOGA and SCC written all over it. 2 months is nothing, a court is very likely likely to agree that the fault existed from purchase. They can fit whatever parts they like to solve the problem, they do NOT have to use OEM parts, but they DO have to fix it. Wear and tear isn't relevant at this point AS LONG AS THE MILEAGE ISNT SKY HIGH. I agree with Alex, £350 is peanuts if the car is on the original clutch and flywheel, so take that. If it doesn't fix the problem, so what? They have to take it back and fix it again, not your problem and not your cost.
  2. PF 01 pads on the front, and Z Rated pads on the rear. Utterly brilliant, and if I had a Zed again I would be exclusively looking at the Performance Friction range. Best brakes I've ever tried on a 350, especially with the matching ally belled discs.
  3. I can't see England getting past Aus or NZ. If England don't turn up in the game against Wales, I can see us not even making it out of the group.
  4. Nope. I'll watch the England games if I remember they're on and maybe the final if a home nation makes it, but otherwise I have but a passing interest.
  5. No, I wanted to know how to do exactly that, hence wanting a PM or the answer in spoiler tags. I got my PM though, so now I'm sorted.
  6. Would that not be down to the developer though? Surely they pay BT/Openreach for the install of the cables, and it's unlikely that fibre will be cheaper than copper, so they'll just default to the cheapest solution if they're building generic homes for regular folks. The only time they'd go fibre would be if they were expensive homes that they want to sell at the top end to People That Know Their Stuff, who won't pay a premium without fibre. Then they'd get the expensive stuff chucked in as they could make a profit from it. As it stands, the vast majority of people in this country are happy with regular ADSL and don't really understand or need to use the benefits of a proper fat pipe.
  7. Depends if it's Honda tech or Mercedes tech
  8. If you can prove that, there's a guy on PH who will pay your fine for you.
  9. The ad specifically states Zeta R, so looks like someone was done over then if you say they're the Zeta S. I've never seen either set in the flesh, I'm just going on what I found.
  10. http://www.350z-uk.com/topic/55218-meisterr-zeta-r-coilovers-for-sale-500-sold/ That post there would indicate to me that they're not true coilovers. However, if Meister R have changed their design since then, that would explain that. I assume you have them in hand? You will need to beef up the rear subframe around the mounting points of the coilovers on the rear IF you are converting to true dual. Not something to be undertaken lightly.
  11. Either cheaper or with more grunt.
  12. It's also a lot to do with crash regs both EU and US, as they want bigger and more robust collapsible structures built into new cars these days. Tech gets smaller, cars get bigger. Sad times.
  13. They're the same as OEM, separate springs and dampers at the rear. EDIT That's not a bad thing, makes the install a hell of a lot easier!
  14. Welcome to the world of VAT! Yeah, sales tax as well on top, so that depends on state.
  15. Yup. Manual starts from that price, in the US.
  16. What have you ordered? Full coilover conversion, or as per the OEM setup with separate dampers and springs at the rear?
  17. It's partly why the Zed works so well.
  18. Not really, it was designed to be a cheap fun light RWD coupe. It's certainly that, people are just too lazy to use the revs for overtaking so it always feels underpowered. I just want a bit more grunt to assist with gaining speed at 6th on the motorways, that's all.
  19. It's not though, he posts loads around here, you only notice the EV posts though. This is a 350Z forum that has a section dedicated to OTHER CARS. The Tesla is another car, so it's absolutely fine to talk about it there. It would be much more helpful if we had a single thread, but it seems there's no will to sort that out.
