ARGH S-Line is a trim level, no different from a Mondeo Titanium or an XF Portfolio. It's just shiny bits, not performance enhancing at all (if anything, the bigger wheels will make it slower!). An A4 2L TDi S-Line is the same speed as an A4 2L TDi. Sorry, pet hate. As you were, people.

New engine time. It's highly likely you've caused damage to your engine, fingers crossed its not too bad though.

Don't talk such twaddle. A decent panel filter is easy on a par with the OEM one in terms of filtration.

For panel filter, I'd go K&N or Cosworth. For open cone filter, I'd go JWT. No real sense in spending any more, as you're only losing power and sucking in hot air.

Mk1 Focus is going to go down as a design classic, much like the mk1 TT. Stunning looking car, even today.
