    wider rear tyres

Possibly. You're on just over 2% difference which *could* affect it, although I suspect it'll very much be fine with zero issues. 295/30 might actually be a better option, or even 305/30, which is the same as a Gallardo or GT3 if you want to know just how silly that is in terms of needing grip My more immediate concern from a driving dynamics POV would be that you'll be introducing understeer to the car. Not an issue in itself it you prefer that (and contrary to popular belief, there's nothing wrong with preferring understeer: If it's good enough for Lewis...!), just something to be aware of. You could get round that and have a more neutral car by adding some toe out at the front, but each to their own.
  2. Nah, they'll all be the same give or take, any O2 spacer will be be fine for your needs
  3. Clark Motorsport. Great service, great price, just great
  4. Bovril > Marmite. Who's with me?!
  5. No, but then I didn't cast a vote for Glasgow East or Cardiff North either.
  6. Oh god no

    'STANG thread

    Much better!
  8. Oh god, those two gimps who won need shooting! I liked blondey girly the best
  9. Without checking, I believe it was David Campbell-something. I shall now Google to see how close (or far away!) I am. Campbell-Bannerman, close! Ex-UKIP, ironically, now Tory.

  11. I agree, I would just check on the actual terms of the warranty to be sure. I know that the Porsche one voids the entire warranty if ANY part of the car isn't OEM, wasn't sure if the BMW one was that restrictive or now is all. Tbh if the air filter is just a filter change then I'd be tempted to do that anyway, it's not exactly a difficult job to undo four clips and replace it by the side of the road if anything happens
  12. But you already have that, so nothing at all will change in that regard. I'm not sure why we keep going round in circles on that fact.
  13. Which is how the EU works too. The majority does what they believe is right for the majority.
  14. Chris, any specs on sizes of the D2 seats? Specifically the internals, wanting to see if a certain someone would fit inside.
  15. We did vote against tighter banking controls, yes. I actually agree with that, but I do understand that a lot of people in this country don't, which is fair enough. The majority of people didn't vote Conservative though, but that's a whole different ball game
  16. But what if what is best for us is actually what the EU tells us, and we're just being stubborn for the sake of it? For example, tighter controls on banking or corporations making tiny tax contributions. Perhaps the UK might want it to protect our precious banking businesses, but would it not be better for all if there were tighter regs? It's just one example, but it's a recent and very true one. To put it closer to home, and this depends on where you sit on this one, but it's like Labour voting to get rid of Trident but the Tories wanting it.
  17. How come changing the air filter affects warranty, but the steering wheel and two-pipe mod don't?
  18. I care I wouldn't buy one just for low CCT. You'll have to look at everything else too, running costs, leasing costs, mileage etc to see if it works for you.
  19. Just had the exact same conversation with someone else on another forum. It really is no different to how things are run now in this country when it comes to elections, it's just on a greater scale.
  20. MPSC2 are already out, have been for a couple of years. Looks like there won't be an MPSS successor as such, as the tyre was so good they didn't even bother with a mid-term revision. They will still make the MPSS but only in OEM application sizes, so the new Focus RS will have a stock for at least the next five years I'd guess. Anything else than came on them from the factory too.
  21. No. Beavis. How many more times?!
  22. Outdated inf, no longer applies following Beavis.
  23. Michelin confirm in EVO this month that the MPS4 *is* the replacement for the MPSS! They're dropping 17 & 18 inch MPSS this year, which massively affects 350 owners (and me!), although 19+ will continue for now. They've dropped the dual compound too, just a regular silica mix for now. Interesting times ahead. I remain unconvinced.
  24. Oh you wait until you start trying to take bumpers off to replace rads, and undoing various suspension bits to change them: You'll never love German engineering again Some BMW bits are incredibly well engineered, some are just utterly insane.
  25. To assume that everything will be absolutely fine is either naivety, or stupidity. Yes, I can see that things *might* be better after we leave, after a period of many years, but I can't see how you can honestly believe there will not be a very real cost to your pocket.
