  1. Write a letter stating the facts. Include that you don't think it's fit for purpose, and explain why. Make sure you ask for the refund. Be clear and concise. Give them both letter and car, and all the keys. Ask for the refund. They will likely say no. Go home, fire up the interweb and start a claim here. Follow the process through. You may have to attend court. Job's a carrot.

    MPS4 or MPSS

Like I said, each to their own to read and decide. I even said in that thread that the car won't suddenly crash and burn, it's just more likely to behave unpredictably when you least expect it.
  3. No, you will get the value of the px back as well, if not the actual car. Yes, you will be car less until then. Hence why you need to act quickly and decisively.

As I said, they'll keep making the OEM size tyres until then.

    911 R

Not any more, even a light spec C2S is over £100K. Ironically it's not the prices of the fun stuff that bothers me, it's the sheer lack of availability. I know for a fact that people already have LOIs in for the GT4RS, and the 991.2 GT3 and RS models.
  6. Fine, let them have it. To check the oil usage they'll have to strip and inspect the engine, and that's going to cost them. They'll lose more that way.
  7. It would be much easier. Trouble is, people are idiots and if they can't even cope with the idea of keep left, they're never going to manage turn left on red.

Read the link, figure out for yourself if it's worth the risk.

    911 R

Yup, all gone already. The best modern day 911 you can't buy. Their halo models are getting ridiculous to get hold of now, and I'm getting sick of it tbh.

Read that, and make your own decision But no, I wouldn't dream of running crappier tyres on the rear than on the front.

That was their own words, not the Michelin press release though.
  12. Plus4 is a nice easy to car to pootle around in. Cracking experience, although don't expect fireworks as a 0-60 of around 7-8 secs isn't exactly quick. Just sit back and enjoy the cruising

    MPS4 or MPSS

Michelin said to EVO that the MPSS will only continue in OEM sizes. So if there's a car that came with the MPSS from the factory that happens to have the same size tyres you want to use then great, if not then time to move on. EVO are normally pretty good at things like that, I'd be tempted to take their word.
  14. I just stay in my lane and proceed with caution. No need to make an unnecessary move, that way.

    MPS4 or MPSS

Someone has to be the first to try If it were me, I think I'd also stick with the MPSS for now, at least until someone else has had a try of the MPS4 in the real world. It may very well be a staggeringly good tyre though!
  16. I think unless you're tracking it regularly then that's miles overkill. Even 4500 would be a bit excessive in my eyes. That oil is superb stuff, very difficult to buy anything much better, so it doesn't need changing as often. If you were running Generic Cheap-O Oil then sure, change it often, but without tracking it I'd stick to the usual 9K service regime myself.
  17. Jeez, how old is that??!! It's utter rubbish. If you don't sign the S172 then you commit an offence, punishable by 6 pts. They can then still get you on the speeding charge as well if the camera clearly shows it's you, and guess how nice they're going to be when you've already been done for failure to supply the S172... It's pretty much the stupidest thing you can do. Right up with there with Freeman Of The Land wibbleness.
  18. Thought I'd read that somewhere before, dated from June last year I still can't find exactly what he was charged with though!
  19. I'm from Essex my friend, nothing cultured about me! RS6 would've been a blast but it's a straight line car more than anything. Definitely agree with you over the RS4, and the E46 is fun but it's not something I'd ever really want to own. Nope, I think you made a great choice, good on you for living your dream
