See, I like Steve Jones, he's a down to earth kind of guy. Not that I'll be watching any C4 coverage as I've got Sky, but it'll be nice to see Murray back in whatever limited position he has. Wolff, Chandhok and Senna can get FRO though, I'm not sure I could find a less charismatic bunch of people in motorsport.

Perfect clickbait thread title there Payco £175K? Nope, not on any planet.

Bin it, get a new one. Sure, you can clean it with pretty much any oil for air filters, but you still run the risk of overoiling and destroying your MAF. For the £50 or whatever to spend every couple of years to replace the air filter, personally I wouldn't take the risk.

I also posted first as a helpful post. That gets ignored though

Not quite as good as the A048s, definitely not as good as the MPSC (not tried the MPSC2 yet), but they're still my go-to trackday tyre of choice purely on cost grounds. That said, I do want to try the 595 and the NS2R as well at some point just to compare: I suspect that for the few trackdays I do a year, they'd be a very good choice.
-
That's what makes it far more exciting

Probably a good idea to ditch your local tyre dealer. If they can't even balance a wheel after two attempts...

I thought this thread would be about working your way through 13 books in a day...

Silverstone isn't that much fun, unless you have masses of power and decent downforce. Nice to say you've done it for the history of the place, but Brands is a better drive and usually the same price.

https://www.gov.uk/g...ders-103-to-158 Rules 110 and 114. So no, but also yes. It depends on the situation, how long you flash, where the car is positioned, time of day, weather etc. I will flash if I'm in Lane 1 and there is a car in Lane 2 I'm about to pass to let them know I'm there. I do this with enough room to allow me to move to L2 if they then realise they're being a twatface and move to L1.

I can highly recommend the PF 01 pads for the 350, combine them with their 2-piece discs and it's an incredibly impressive setup Again, not cheap though.

Yellowstuff are very good on lighter cars (I've run them on the VXR and MR2 with success) but on heavier stuff they can give up quite easily. If it were me, I'd change fluid and not just another lot of the RBF600. I ran the Endless fluid in my Zed which being a ragtop weighed a fair bit, and saw some horrendous temps on track but the fluid NEVER failed at all. It's ridiculously expensive, but then it's also utterly incredible so you do get what you pay for. I currently use the ATE 200 as well, which I run across the MR2 and the BMW, as well as the 911 before that. All have been tracked extensively, and I personally prefer it to the RBF600. It's not as good as the Endless stuff, but then it's 1/3 of the price. 30mins on track is excessive, both on the driver and the car unless it's specced for race stuff. If you're a heavy braker as well then that's equally not going to help. And turn the traction off!

11" is plenty, bearing in mind it'll open up wider once you're past the frame too.
-
Get yourself a set of MPSS on there, then pop the old rears on eBay for cheaps. At least get some cash back that way
-
Did they have to knock the wheel to get it off? They can stick to the hubs, so often need a clout to free them up which could've knocked your geometry. That wouldn't account for all your issues, however. Wait for the alignment results.

Good luck getting a reply! It's a reasonable amount, what are you buying?

Roughly plus 25% on total cost, including shipping. This takes into account both import duty and VAT.
