  1. It's a big thing, mind you don't choke on it All joking aside, it should just be a case of speaking to the local Lambo dealer (Pangbourne?) and asking them to sort the cert for him.
  2. Okay, so how far along in the process is he? I can't see any issues with registering something like that directly with the DVLA, it was a car that has full EU compliance so should be very straightforward.
  3. Part curiosity, part maybe point him in the right direction of someone who specialises in that car if he's having issues.
  4. I know, it seems like people either like the inside or the outside, but not both! I think it's a bit colour-sensitive. Some I've seen are nice, some are actually awful. So I may change my opinion to the fact the whole car is crap.
  5. You could, but I'm not sure there's any benefit really.
  6. Yeah, I just checked the forecast after I posted that, it looks fine. I reckon you'll get some running at least, MSV are pretty good at clearing their tracks and if you can get a little sun out just to clear the ice, you'll be okay. I've done Combe before in -3c, and Spa opened up about 11am after the majority of the snow had gone a couple of years back. Fingers crossed for you mate
  7. They cancelled already? Blimey, must be horrendous up there then!
  8. DBX has those silly roof rails too. But you know what? I think the DBX is actually a more composed design. It's still horrific, but it's better than the DB11.
  9. I'm not sure what's worse, the wheels or the exhaust.
  10. I wouldn't disown it. I'd quickly sell it for something that looked vaguely decent instead. £150K, more like £175K incl options, that's a lot of money for something that challenging. Now, conversely I actually think if they translate that design to a smaller shell, like the next V8V, that could work much better. In the same way the DB9 was always prettier and suited the styling much better than the V8V, this could be the opposite way round.
  11. Well, quite! It's been sat around for two years doing next to no mileage, I wouldn't touch it unless it was significantly cheaper.
  12. He'll soon get over that mate, our Lexi was quiet as a mouse for a few days after we took her away from mum, just give him lots of stimulation with toys and he'll get over it
  13. He looks so sad, I just want to hug him and squeeze him and love him
  14. Ah, clock spring is a term I've heard of.

    Do Wings work?

It's not bollocks. Go read about the difference between a spoiler and a wing. Also you might want to look up just how difficult it is to create downforce.

    Do Wings work?

Pretty much. Proper wings can reduce lift, but very very few actually add downforce, especially not without other body additions. Not a slight, I like that spoiler of yours and I don't often like spoilers

    Do Wings work?

Your spoiler doesn't create any downforce at all. Drag yes, downforce no.
  18. Gotcha. Never heard of that before!
  19. Walk away. Anything you do will only highlight it, and then it's got your name on it. Sometimes it's better to walk away.
  20. Because it's better for them, too.
  21. Depends. Some of us drive our cars, whilst others just stand there and look at them
  22. Besides, you can't see the colour when you're sat in the seat hooning anyway!
