  1. Kinda what I'm thinking. I mean, do you remember when the 888s came out and they undercut the A048s by so much for 90% of the performance that everyone started switching across? Few years later and Toyo find themselves in the same position as Yokohama were then, with the upstarts now making tyres that are close to the performance of the big guys.
  2. Aside from exotica and stuff that's simply a bad design or manufacturing error, I'm struggling to think of anything. Replacing batteries might be quick and easy, but they're not going to be cheap to purchase and you can bet it'll be a dealer-only thing as they'll need special programming.
  3. It has loads of tattoos and gets a little bit rapey?
  4. So, so ugly. Dear god Lexus of old, please come back and start producing subtle fast cars again
  5. Animated sigs are, in general, the reason why image blockers exist. You're better than that dude, your current sig is classy, just replicate it with the current beast
  6. Truth is, no-one really knows about the long term cost of EV ownership yet, myself included. We do know that, in general, an ICE will be good for 200k miles with basic servicing on modern engines. If EVs can do that too, or at least get close to it, then they're on the right track.

    0 - 60 mph..

The only way to get near OEM 0-60 is to not lift the gas pedal when shifting gear, and destroying your clutch when you launch. Don't worry about it. Also, ESP must be off for any kind of spirited driving timing.
  8. I found it first time by typing in 'grundy225'
  9. Someone really needs to invent a global internet site that allows you to look for things you might need, just by putting the words in. I'd probably name it after a big number or something.

    Maserati SUV

Not for me. Looks like a modern Lexus, which isn't a good thing.
  11. Did you even read his post?!
  12. He doesn't want to sell them to you. Try a quote from the usual people, like FedEx or UPS or USPS. See what it comes out at.
  13. At 5.5mm I don't think they'll be that bad, certainly I'd expect them to be on a par with the 888s and possibly longer, given how little tread there is so less chance for slidey slidey action!
  14. ...but when I do, they look like this: The Nankang AR-1 Literally brand-new, only very limited supplies right now along with limited sizes. For Zed peoples I can only see them in 225/40/18 (£120) and 265/35/18 (£150) right now, but this is going to be expanded very soon so I'd expect to see a much better selection in 18". They're EU marked so road legal, although I'd expect their wet weather characteristics to be somewhat interesting with that tread pattern. However, given the hysteria we had a few years back with the EU re-classifying what could be used as a road tyre and the fear that 888s would be made illegal, it's incredibly encouraging to see a road legal tyre that looks basically like a bike tyre coming to the market. I've not ordered any yet, but I think for the prices these have to be worth a shot.
  15. Oh man, I'm so annoyed at myself for not picking that up

  20. Let's rise up! Tomorrow. Or next week, seeing as it's the weekend. Or maybe wait until the summer when it's warm.
