  1. If you live very close to your place of work and will never ever ever need to travel more than a hundred miles or so, an electric city car is a good idea on a lease scheme. If you think that you might at some time like a spare vehicle to use for an emergency dash across the country, then you have to get an ICE car really. An electric city car as a third car I would understand, but I'd never have one as a second car or if I new I'd be pushing the limits on the commute. When you can get a Smart for £99 a month and it'll be cheap as anything on fuel, I'm not sure I'd look elsewhere.
  2. +1 for the PF01, I used them on my 350 with matching discs and they were among the best non-carbon brakes I've ever used.
  3. So not bias at all then I'm not sure you can compare an R32 or a VXR of any kind with a Leaf.
  4. NOOOOOOOOOOOOOO NOT AGAIN
  5. I wouldn't go for engine internals myself. At that kind of money, I'd just be buying a new car instead.
  6. Exactly. As good as the Defender was for it's intended purpose, there's an awful lot of stuff out there these days that will do 80% of the work with 200% more usability. If you ever get the chance, go drive the Cayenne at the PEC in Silverstone. I had no idea just how bloody capable that thing is off-road, and the angles we were driving on were simply ridiculous!
  7. I'd probably be okay with them on a V12 Lambo
  8. Agreed. Nowt wrong with lowering a bit, but slamming a car just makes it useless and look like the suspension is broken.
  9. For an every day car, a Macan S would be my pick. For something that's truly special, the FF is on another planet. If we're talking more sensible, then I still really like my 3.2L Ranger. Gearbox is a bit duff, but it's got a huge towing capacity and because there's no weight over the rear axle most of the time it makes slidey slidey time a cinch to start
  10. Also, we can quickly see which people have no taste at all now

    lambo doors

If you have done absolutely positively everything else on your car (right down to colour coded conrods) and you feel like spunking a grand up the wall then go for it. Otherwise, just no.
  12. The bubble will definitely burst at some point. I hope.

    Ford Focus RS

It's not as exciting looking as an RS should be, but I'd love to drive one and find out if it's any good. Looks like it could be a modern day Impreza, which works for me. But no, I'm with Brillo on this one, I'd pick something slower and RWD with a BMW badge on the front instead of the Focus.

https://www.z1motorsports.com/front-bumper/nismo/2015-nismo-370z-front-fascia-kit-p-8198.html Fifth result on a google for 'Nismo bodykit for 370Z'. Bet they do the rest of the kit too.

Someone did this already. It was utterly horrendous.
  17. Cripes, how local are you then? I'm only in Halsted myself.
  18. Are these not Ruff Racing, as opposed to Ruf Racing? Just a technical point, I know, but one is a significantly more expensive brand than the other!

    Will they rub?

  20. When was the last time you broke something?
  21. Street Fighter V is out today, PS4 and PC peoples. Sadly it's pretty much on-line only as the full SP campaign won't be launched until June, but it's still worth looking at if you're into fighters.
  22. Hand it over to someone else then
