  1. Looks good. Will have to wait until nearer the time to commit. How much are the tickets?
  2. Depending on your insurance cover, NCD and your excess, maybe worth claiming?
  3. Whatever he goes for will be a compromise. Good budget though. If I was him, I would go for a cheaper car though and put some money aside for the next divorce
  4. Thanks for a great day Andy. Really enjoyed it. As Dave said, we will come again
  5. Hey if it floats your boat go for it but it doesn't do it for me.
  6. Only time will tell.
  7. Morgan Aero 8. Lucky we don't all like the same thing.
  8. A few from my list: Fiat Uno 1991. Complete load of junk with dreadful gearbox. Mini Cooper. 1993. Good to drive but leaked like a sieve and even had to have a new engine. Mini Cooper. 1995. Built under BMW ownership. Good fun. Massive improvement on build quality. Skoda Octavia.2011. Excellent car. Practical, reliable and well built. Despite the badge, best bang for your buck I have ever owned :thumbs :
  9. Sorry to hear this. Look at the positives. 363 days and counting. I am sure you can ride shotgun with someone to your local meets and events
  10. I wouldn't worry. Quite normal for the Zed.
  11. Enjoy the race. Been a few years since I last went. Will do it again sometime.
  12. My money is on the windscreen and bulkhead areas. Sit in the car when it is hissing it down with rain, lift the carpet and watch. It may take some time to come through, hours in fact, but this will show you where it is coming in. If nothing happens, leak is coming through lower down ie. Lower door seal or from wheel arch area. Leaks are a pain in the ar*se. Had one in my mini. Rover forgot to seal the engine bay when it was built
  13. Well the GT-R seems to come with a serious leg-up in running costs. Do the math very carefully... Hence why I still have my 350z
  14. Money vs Happiness. The two do not always go in hand. Long term you must be happy in what you do, especially when you get an old g*t like me. Plan for your future now. Make the changes sooner than later. If you need more qualifications do them now. It may take a long time to get to where you want to be in life but you have age on your side. (I sound like a fortune teller! Lol!)
