  1. Keep it on track please guys GLWS Paul, its a lovely car
  2. Sounds like you had a top day. Bedford is a great track. I would do it with my mate Ben if his Evo wasnt too loud for the drive by noise limits
  3. Its more if it will be here for Wales or not Colour? Wait and see, more info by the end of this week I hope. Blame Nissan if not, I'm waiting on them to officially release the details, which I am told is this week
  4. Its more if it will be here for Wales or not Mine will be Yeah yeah whatever, good things come to those who wait
  5. Just back from having a quick catch up with Colin and his new Zed. Not enough time for any more pics for you guys, but the wrapping looks great and the exhaust, much better than stock, akin to a Nismo on a 350z
  6. Its more if it will be here for Wales or not
  7. More importantly, stick with this man. Ebay is a complete unknown, with Alex, the price for the Fidanza isnt far off for getting a known good bit of kit and an excellent seller with top notch after sales support. Worth every penny IMO.
  8. Thanks for that chap, when I come to sell mine, it justifies me selling it at a higher price. Show seller that, suddendly mine is worth more
  9. Awww so cute. Not sure I want to show Amanda, she'll get all broody So happy for the 3 of you
  10. Accoridng to a lot of the guys on the US 370z forums, they cant see how C&D did this. Nissan wont say anything other than they ran street pads which arent designed for the track and they should have been using the Nismo ones. The chaps over the other side of the pond (who do a lot of track days) seem to allude to the fact that you have to drive like a complete plank to even get anywhere near what C&D did. The OEM pads go off at the rate you would normally expect and get more and more spongey before letting go. So C&D must have been mullering the car and not paying any attention to its feedback for it to fail in the way it did! Oh and they are spouting BS, Nissan (Nismo) offered the uprated pads long before C&D killed theirs
  11. CF Auto is CF3 from what I can gather. They want $49 for me to upgrade my version which I CBA with as I'm getting rid of it in a few months. You can get CF to read sensors if you are very good at programming, using USB daughter boards and some sensor kit which I forget the name of. Its very hardcore though. I think to change the "Windows is starting up" writing, you need to modify the binary that control startup and shutdown, its not as simple as the logos by any means, and its pretty dangerous to the system if you feck it up. I always shyed away from it as I didnt want to kill my system. I beleive you have to hex edit the binary.
  12. Unfortunately, although Linux is very quick, there isnt the demand for the software out there for CarPCs, so you wont ever use it. XP is the way to go, you only want basic functionality and low resource usage and best driver compatibility. You'll be looking at CF all the time anyway, not the OS
  13. Probably not too shabby so long as you dont leave it full of water Convert the tank to hold fuel and you could do some mamoth road trips
  14. Back to Exhange for you then
  15. Thought you were looking forward to that? Is it not very good? I like Gmail for my personal mail, works well on the iPhone too
  16. Like a screw driver with a split end so it can go around the pins and push directly on their mounts rather than the surrounding softer plastic http://www.caraudiodirect.co.uk/second- ... opper.html
  17. As Andy says, start at the bits by the seat and work backwards. You cant do it in the wrong order as they all overlap, so if you find a panel you cant remove, find the one that overlaps it and take that off Go easy and use a trim removal tool, its all dead easy to do when you get going
  18. For those interested, my setup will be up for sale in a few months. Mac-mini (Core2Duo 1.6GHz I think), Carnetix PSU, USB GPS, Centrafuse (fully licenced) etc etc.
  19. See what they say, no need to get worked up just yet, they may just pay to get it fixed. They should have an inspection sheet which has any defects to the car listed on it prior to any work they do, this should have been given to you so you can see if it was there before. If all else fails, as Mike and others have said, one member does do touch up paint so you will be able to fix it yourself if you need to
  20. Nice one matey, will reply to your PM in a bit
  21. Put it into Offline mode and then try. Maybe close Outlook in Offline Mode and restart it and try again if that doesnt work. There are more hardcore methods, but lets try offline mode first
