  1. I bought my Nismo off a car with something like 30k miles on, put it on my car and did another 50k. It didnt look or sound any older at the end. What the stuff inside was like I have no idea, but the integrity of the welds and outer material was perfect. Y-pipes do tend to go on them eventually, but thats mainly to do with adding decats (the wrong kind can stress them). They are a quality product. On the 370z though they are a bit quiet. On a 350z they are perfect IMO
  2. +1 - if you want to send over money - use the donate button and it will all be handled by PP
  3. He got drunk and deleted the photo by accident

    black edition

Good to see another Black Edition. Will add you to the list on the other thread viewtopic.php?f=70&t=41164
  5. You need to call them to book. I reserved my room today so they have some left
  6. Talked to the guys from Superpro in Birmingham at the NEC at Autosport show. They seemed very knowledgable and the bits looked really good quality.
  7. +1 - take this mans advise. I used to try and do it from warm and wait a while, but it takes a looooong time for it all to drain back down. Alex knows more than almost anyone in the UK about this kind of thing and Zeds
  8. Yeah the rust colour will just be in the limescale, it shouldnt be in the paint. Just keep at the soaking and rinsining routine. Dont be tempted to scrub at it, you will just marr the paint. Should all disolve eventually.
  9. -1 nowt wrong with EBC drilled/grooved. I ran a set to over 40k miles before they started to die thru old age theyre really not great on the track, the drilled discs crack very easily ive been hearing The problem is people use them on the track full stop. They are fast street discs, not track discs. The Zed is a heavy powerful car, it needs proper discs on track. I found EBC ok if you are not too heavy on the brakes on track, but any proper abuse and you will knacker them, Ultimax are even easier to warp.
  10. Just face it, we're screwed. Get out there and get the gas guzzler you want now and be happy that one day you can recall owning one. Thats why I got the 370z, and when thats gone, may do what Sarnie is planning and sign up for a year at Supercar club, just so I can have a play in those cars before they are all taxed to death and we all end up whizzing around in leccy cars
  11. BIG +1 - we had great fun watching it last night
  12. Aye here it is - viewtopic.php?f=33&t=44966
  13. Think it was moved to the GB section.
  14. WD40 is the worst thing to put on them. It will displace the grease. Get a mechanic to have a look and get them to grease it properly if its the drop links. My 350z did the same, you just get used to it
  15. Alex and Lee are definately your best chance. UK dealers are very unlikely to get them in and if they do it will cost an arm and a leg. Maybe hit up the US forum ( www.the370z.com ) or Courtesy Parts.
  16. Cost me just over £90 last time around for Tesco99. Bloody scary thing is, when they uped the Pay at Pump limit from £50 to £99 I thought that was a mental jump, but they knew better than me, soon enough we'd be topping that out too
  17. A fill up with 99 at Tesco's at Horsham last Friday was £134.9 I assume you mean 134.9p/litre and not £134.90 for a tank? Either way
  18. All I ask is that the government keep the recommended fuel payment tracking the price of fuel. Its still at 40p/mile which is quickly meaning that the payment doesnt cover my fuel - currently it gives me about 40p/mile compared to the cost of fuel which is quickly approaching 25p/mile. Once I go over 10k miles a year then I'm down to even less, which is why it only just breaks even now I think. I dont dare work it out incase I realise the real cost and need to get rid of the car
  19. Sound deadening works quite well, but its a bit of a pain to take the car to bits to fit Still get a lot of road noise though, I think its down to the tyres as when you go over nice smooth tarmac it goes perfectly quiet.
  20. Very nice. Could do with one of them to go with the Black Edition for sunny days
  21. Same as above. I think they must use the same pedal in the 6MT and 7AT and such it has the kick down button in the 6MT even though it doesnt kick down
  22. Maybe Colin could pop over to see the beast
