  1. I would imagine so. For not much more and I have a 370z and Ibiza (1.4) insured with them!
  2. Might as well just declare us all bankrupt the amount of debt we have to pay off as a nation
  3. Yeah wont be getting there until Friday afternoon Nice short run to Inverness
  4. Full sus dont help me keep up with you though Damn living in a flat area of the country. I have found like 2 inclines around here that are equal gradient to what we do in the Lakes, the problem is they are about 20m long. Have to do some hardcore interval training on them before May if I am to try and keep up this time
  5. +1 - a lot of places are stopping the use to suction mounts as a lot of people buy cheap crap ones which let go mid track and send the camera flying around the cockpit! Far better to get a proper clamp if you can. Not easy in the 350z, but in the 370z they added a handy bar for us
  6. As above, until the recipient opens it, it will remain in your outbox
  7. If its only happened since the car has been in, get it back there and get them to look at it. DTV develops over many many miles. They could have made it worse if they removed the discs and didnt put them back on the same, but they dont need to remove discs to replace lines.
  8. And here was me thinking the mods life was about to get a whole load easier Congrats mate, sounds like win win all round.
  9. Good work. Handbrake will be tighter now as you have to loosen it off to get the rear discs off - the handbrake is a drum brake formed inside the rear disk bell. So given they do things properly (unlike a lot of Nissan garages) - I would hope the handbrake works properly now Not supprised the car feels completely different, you've uprated a lot of the main points. Just wait til its all bedded in, will feel awesome
  10. Looooots of reading from around the net. Most of it comes from the States - www.the370z.com - they get stuff first, then we get it the year after usually. You also have the press releases, they give the incremental updates from model to model. It also helps having contacts at NMGB and dealerships
  11. If you bed them in like a sissy they do. Get em good and hot and smoking and they dont squeal at all. Its when you dont have any pad material on the disc they squeal, most likely down to the metal content of the pads on the bare disc. My OEM 370z pads squeal atm because I've done so many motorway miles with light braking. If I go rag them a bit and get some pad transfer, they will stop squealing
  12. My 350z nor my 370z dont ever come up with anything for Admiral, I always have to manually enter it
  13. Dont help him, we want pics on his car
  14. There was the GT4 anniversary model. Again dont think it matters as if they need to pay out they will come and assess what you have.
  15. Doesnt really matter - if they ever come to pay out they will come and assess the car for what it is. IMO I would go for the "350 GT coupe" option, I think thats what mine used to be covered under.
  16. You have your uses now and again sir
  17. Reversing cams can be fitted to MY09 cars, just not easily. I forget the name of the company in the States, but they make an AUX in adapter which allows you to run backup cam - just dont get the lines. MY10 can get the harness from the States which is dead easy to fit and a lot cheaper than its likely to cost from Nissan on the MY11
  18. Almost,.......... wrong side of the pond. Could have gone on a little adventure
  19. Sat Nav = Connect Premium if the car is an MY10+. MY09 has sat nav but not connect premium. Connect premium replaced standard sat nav for MY10 onwards and added touchscreen, HDD jukebox and better ipod connectivity to the satnav unit. In MY11+ cars, they have added reversing camera to the Connect Premium bundle as an option I think (it may be included in the price, dont know havent seen the prices). Confusingly, there is both GT pack (upgrade on standard model) and now GT Edition for 2011 which is a special offer which includes smoke wheels like the Black Edition and some sticker down the side. Ultimate (yellow) and GT Edition are the two that can come with stickers. Dont think you will see any GT Editions on Autotrader yet as they are a MY11 car I think and not release yet.
  20. 2 main models as with the 350z - base and GT pack. GT pack adds leather seats, better stereo and cruise (as with the 350z). Connect Premium is the upgraded entertainment system which adds touch screen nav and better ipod integration and HDD "jukebox" (can rip CDs to MP3s upto 10GB). Ultimate was the first MY09 offer where you get a fully loaded 370z (nav, illumiated kick plates, etc) all included in the price and available in yellow with or without stickerage. 40th/Black Edition was the MY10 special which came with special red interior, callipers, dark wheels and limited numbers (370 for the whole of Europe) GT Edition is the MY11 special edition which comes with revised suspension for the UK, better sound deadening underneath and a sticker down the side. Think that covers it
  21. Just had my first 370z service at WLMG in Slough (after many happy 350z services). I got the first 2 for free with the 370z, so dropped the car off this morning. They ran me over to work in a Qashqai as the GTRs were all blocked in (BOOOOO!) and dropped the car off this afternoon having been serviced and cleaned (forgot to tell them not to clean it as I usually do - whoops ). They even approved of my mods and want all 370z's to come with Stillen exhausts
  22. Definately improves the car - and if you aint paying - then its win win!
  23. Again, not when you think about it When coasting, the engine has to keep itself idling/spinning which means it uses a certain amount of fuel to keep the engine, flywheel and other running gear turning. When keeping it in gear and under no load, road speed is spinning the engine, and the ECU knows this, so it cuts all but the bare minimum of fuel from the engine (infact I think these days it does actually cut all fuel) meaning it uses next to sod all if any fuel until you put the engine under load again. Been like that for a good few years now EDIT: Hang on think I might have misread that. Are you talking about coasting in gear vs out of gear or constantly coming to stop and starting again vs slowly crawling all the way?
  24. Because as the car sees it, the milage you have done for the current fuel usage is on average dropping. All it does is divide the number of miles you have done by the petrol you have used, use petrol without going anywhere and the average will drop
