  1. What did they charge you for shipping from the states?
  2. Yes - it was the Ford Cologne V6, also known as the Ford Taunus V6. These were 60° cast iron block V6 engines produced by the Ford Motor Company in Cologne, Germany from 1968.
  3. I think it's a 280i coupe from the mid 1980s. Edit - compare it with this I just found on wiki. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/File:280i_3_4_Rear.JPG
  4. These have just gone for £418. Not a bad buy for somebody. Wonder if it was anybody on here that won them?
  5. That looks good. Think you might want to reset the date on your camera, though.
  6. Hi Gus. It's been a while since you've been on here. How's the new car?
  7. +1 And I think his eyes are following me around the room.
  8. BUMP Some of us are still trying to find locate an affordable code reader that will work with the JDM. Anybody got any suggestions yet?
  9. Yup Does this simply mean swapping the units over, or do you have to do something else to the electrics to change the signal being received from the speedo? I'm thinking of the the fact that when the JDM is imported it has to have a conversion thingy put on the back of the speedo to get the accurate MPH reading.
  10. +1 Which reminds me - has anyone yet come across an affordable OBD reader that works with a JDM Z? (sorry to go OT)
  11. Yes - he would like this one - http://www.autocar.co.uk/car-news/fiat- ... nched.aspx
  12. What do you want for them as they are?
  13. I had to look BFH up - I think I am getting old! You weren't a Bullseye fan then?
  14. His post is a copy and paste of the one he already put in the Guides section Oops, sorry. Should have read the post properly.
  15. A very clear guide, Andy. Well done. I would worry too much about removing the airbag to risk a job like that. This should be cut out and added to the guides section.
  16. I've got one that I started to polish, but have failed to complete the job so far.

Sorry - just catching up with this thread. What did you mean when you said you swapped them - did you fit the original tail pipes from the OEM exhaust on the new pipes?
  18. Thanks for the link. I think that product is a bit more sophisticated than some of us were looking for - it needs an O2 sensor welded into the exhaust downpipe to give it full functionality. It's much more than a code reader.
  19. I have one that I started to polish but gave up before getting very far with it. Same price as Paul's?
