  1. Quote: "I won't be going as far as I have with my previous 350z " ..........with your track record, had to laugh at that . Good to see you back with a ZED, although some of us oldun's on here (in more ways than one ) that you might remember, have moved on but like you find the forum addictive.
  2. No cut off for when I need it gone, I'll just remove it from the scrap pile send me a PM and we can organise it. Mods, feel free to lock this now.
  3. Steve Burns might know about the carbs Darren
  4. A certain Mr Brown was responsible Pete..... http://news.bbc.co.u...ess/4834480.stm Although ZEDs not in that published list (band G)
  5. Huge credit to you Really has come alive now
  6. Moved from announcements.
  7. As soon as I read your first line - brake fluid level came to mind...... http://www.350z-uk.c...el#entry1343759 But the codes you have make that doubtful, although you say the car is running fine, so as it costs nothing to check the brake master cylinder is topped up to the max. Hope it is nothng more serious.
  8. When you have bought some more goodies from him
  9. Just simply crazy tax pricing for what is essentially the same car/engine but good luck to those who have ZEDs first registered before 23/3/2006.
  10. Lost count the number of times when you end up following a car that does a max of around 40mph in 50/60 limits and they come to a gentle bend and its often down to less than thirty. Then when they arrive at a 30 zone (village etc) where clearly that limit needs observing even though it might be a straight road and damn me they continue on their 40mph cruise So you get to the end of the 30 zone that changes to 60 and catch back up, straight clear road for a easy overtake and well under 60 and what happens...... you get a 'look' and/or flashed lights as much to say "I control the speeds here"!! Got that off my chest
  11. Thanks Colin, yes i've worked out now the car has to be 06 plate or earlier, the tax saving is'nt the be all and end all to me ... it's more of a my money and the Gov not getting it. An example here http://www.350z-uk.com/topic/98247-black-06-350z-only-32k-3-owners-fnsh-v-original-rays-spare-oem-wheels-8000-ovno/
  12. Hey I resemble that remark - but the only power I like is what my right foot controls
  13. No doubt Ken has fitted a Teas Maid as well whilst the car was in his custody? And er, Rockingham....now why does that ring a bell More seriously, great to read the updates and look forward to hearing how this weekends session went - and have a safe one
  14. And with the withdrawal of the 370 roadsters from sale in the UK through lack of sales, you could be forgiven for wondering if 'standard' 370's might next be on the cut list by Nissan and they concentrate on the Nismo branding........ . (I sincerely hope that thought is wrong btw.)
  15. Would have to be a very early 2006 model to benefit from the cheaper tax as the rev-up versions first appeared in March and any unsold pre-rev-ups get stung with the higher tax
  16. Part of the reason why I used spacers that solves the problem. You could always carry a 20/25mm spacer & bolts to use with the spacesaver
  17. Can't miss seeing you taking part at my local circuit (Goodwood) - will speak nearer the time Andy
  18. No is the answer Naildialzed ^^^^ see posts above - thread now locked.
  19. Such a shame and really a basic error on a damp road - heard this issue out of roundabouts so many times on here over the years. But the good news you and no one else were hurt. Lovely looking Zed too
  20. Well we know you are in the UK but if you care to be a bit more up front with your location chances are members can help with a recommended specialist near to you.
  21. Hmmmm...........go faster stripes - now they must be worth another 20mph at least And anyway, Dan being subtle would be totally out of character Enjoy the racing
  22. Betting is they did not bleed from both nipples on each front caliper (sounds painful I know lol) but so often this has been found to be the issue. See here on how they should be done: http://www.350z-uk.c...leed-my-brakes/
