  1. says that in the title numpty Incorrect it says it spontaniously combusted!! now, now girls, put your handbags away and don't spoil the OP's ask for help
  2. Sorry to see the mishap - I would suggest a respray for the whole bumper - at least that will get the inevitable stonechips sorted at the same time
  3. Welcome to the forum - but what caused your loss - any pics?

  8. Thanks - its such a relief to find others of a like mind. Now that Chris has got them in alphabetical order, hopefully by copying the list new additions others will follow that format, so that I haven't created another chore for Admin to sort out
  9. quote "I'm gonna get crucified for this but what does MY stand for? *please don't hurt me* "quote We often see these posts on a regular basis and the questions are very understandable, and not just for newbies. Is it worth having a heading with alphabetical/numerical lists so that the regular ones that crop up can be listed and then any others that pop up can also be added I know the answers can probably be found by a search but its not always where you think it might be and it saves us long-termers on here having to repeat answers, or as in this case I think I'm right in saying MY stands for model year, but then I'm not 100% sure
  10. +1 Excuse the numpty question as an IT illiterate, but how is Mozilla Firefox relevant to the update I have mentioned The majority of people I know use Firefox instead of IE - but answering original question the latest version of IE is stable Right, going to give it a whirl - hope I'll be back but if not its been nice knowing you all
  11. I am glad you popped your head over the parapet first Alex - have to admit that although I have been around this forum for over 3 years, my only contact with Val was after the Spring 2007 Wales run when he took time out to ask June & I about the event and our ZED. Just seems a shame that someone, who is clearly a 350Z fanatic, chose not to accept a majority decision of all those who give up their spare time and a lot of their own money to make this site what it is - the way it has grown confirms that majority decison was the right one and I for one shall be ever grateful as it has given so much pleasure Frankly, it does the job so well that I don't bother with other ZED forums (even if I had the time that is unlikley) as the 350-uk community is such a great place to be and long may it go from strength to strength.

  13. Ah, but it is a used 2009 roadster http://www.holdcroft.com/used-car/nissa ... r/17710486 .....and while you are on there check out the prices for new 350 coupes and roadsters
  14. Have a look at the info on here - may help but I suspect it might be down to your phone settings as on mine you can adjust the beeps etc separately from the speaker volume. See caution note on page 2 of the guide I posted on the thread below viewtopic.php?f=31&t=22759&hilit=bluetooth
  15. Has anyone found/heard if there are any issues with the updates before I allow the install ta
  16. I always try :bye: , but sometimes they pass me so damn quick I miss them
  17. 1. Stew and Jayne 2 x tickets 2. Ebized (Colin & June) 2 x tickets
  18. +1 I though i was stepping back into a 1970's car when i got back in the zed Audi do set the standard imho Fine for those who want a nice interior but I bought the ZED for the driving experience - something the Audi lacks big-time as the 4 wheel drive takes most of that pleasure away - the only time its worthwhile is when it snows
  19. No bonnet humps on the roadsters - does this mean they are being sold new without the 313ps engine
  20. Hope you guys can do a deal - and if as the buyer Dontpanic you want to verify the history by going onto cfoster's profile you can read his posts that will help reveal what he and his car have been up while a member on here
  21. Welcome to the site Jim Looking at the pics I think you will find the colour is a gunmetal, although the UK ZEDs also came in (Blade) silver at that time. The alezan leather was quite popular with GM. Given it has 3 owners, I would check first to see if it has a full service history. From the pics it looks pretty tidy but not worth £13k - 2004 ZEDS can currently be had with the mileage that one has for between £10-12k tops. Suggest you check pistonheads for comparison, but best buys are likely to be from members selling on this forum Good luck
  22. Could do with one of your sat-nav installs but then I guess that would be worth more than the car Brave man for owning up to your purchase But looking forward to hearing about your plans for the ZED
  23. Search button is your friend - this thread has got several options viewtopic.php?f=7&t=15153&hilit=avatar I do mine either by Photobucket or Microsoft Photo Editor

    be carfull

The car was not as advertised - complain to the local Trading Standards office where the seller is based, chances are his type will already be under investigation and if the TS decide to prosecute, and they know what you shelled out, you may get your deposit money back. Although I never use Ebay myself don't they have rules about misleading adverts? Best place to look for a good ZED is on this forum so keep your eyes peeled
