  1. Both days of course The main run is on the Sunday leaving Moreton Park at 10.00 and should be back for 18.00. The Sunday run will leave about 11.00am and likely to be back about 16.30 so that cars can be cleaned up for the next day. Be great to have you along
  2. what the bonnet or engine Engine bay bud. Not a fan of the bonnet - the second you touch it, finger prints. Second you clean it, scratches. Nice idea but not convinced. OK for shows but for general road use it would be a magnet for the light-fingered brigade and looking at the pic above I see bonnet pins are used to keep it shut but no obvious sign of locking, only making matters easier for the scroats. Mind you, with some carefully placed lighting about the engine bay that could look at night

    Wales Drive

Nice pics and if you want to see more of Wales sunning scenery and some of the best driving roads come and join us on the 10/11 October viewtopic.php?f=57&t=25919
  4. As you are in Cumbria I am sure one of the locals can help verify the problem - ask Martinmac for starters
  5. Forgive me if this sounds patronizing but just to be sure your have the adaptor fitted - check out this thread which shows the item in the cradle - they were not supplied with 55 ZEDs new so it wil have been added at some time after. viewtopic.php?f=17&t=13358&hilit=BLUETOOTH+ADAPTOR If so, I presume you are also trying to pair your phone with the adaptor with the ignition switched on otherwise it won't work. If it is still not working then, given others have said their same phone works ok, is that you have a dud bluetooth adaptor. Do you konw another local forum member who might be able to test theirs with your phone? Hope this helps and sorry about suggesting you check the basics but I thought it might be worth mentioning
  6. Always a pleasure to see your engine bay James - more cracking work you have done there Hope it still looks like that clean after the Wales drive in October
  7. I can never understand those that attempt to go the full way round a 6 foot diameter blob of white paint (a mIni-roundabout) without crossing over it - watching their arm thrailing antics can be hilarious - and how do they think lorries get round They are the same idiots who glare at you because you don't try to do the same as them, as though you are cheating or something, fogetting that as long as the principle of treating it as a normal roundabout in terms of when to enter is followed, that is what matters. Looking at those pics of the magic roundabout there is a similar arrangement at Hatton Cross on the south side of London Airport where you go the 'wrong' way round one of the roundabouts - creates some confusion for those coming upon it for the first time
  8. Wow - that is a very useful link - ought to be put up as a sticky
  9. ...and then you woke up .....it was all a dream
  10. That pic was not taken by Louis - it was on the London to Brighton run November last year, but I agree the ones Louis has taken are also supurb
  11. ........and you havn't already gone to the trouble of changing locks etc
  12. OK, but try ending the call on the phone itself rather than the steering whel button, to see if that clears the radio - its not what you should have to do but if you at least get your music back its half a result. Perhaps someone on here who has the same phone as you can help out
  13. Surprised that one so young as you know about these - they pumped out 101BHP from their little 998cc turbo-charged 3-pot and it was a well sorted car in the handling department too -as good fun as the original Mini-Cooper S in its day. One of the best cars I have had the pleasure of owning Whilst the temptation of showing who is boss on the road is there with the chavs, although sometimes what they have under the bonnet can result in , the risk of the proverbial cash machines being parked round the corner or the intimidator turning out to be an unmarked bored plod carrier looking for the next points victim, means I try to be as careful as possible about when and where I exercise the loud pedal
  14. She's looking good Tim, just a shame the car is not standing the test of time as well Seriously though, thanks for taking the time of sharing your trip and pics with us - looks like you had a great time even if MB reliability dosen't match Nissans It is amazing just how many ex-ZED owners keep in touch on this forum - and I'm glad one of them is Tim
  15. Seems odd I presume you have the manual, but if not here it is: http://www.350z-uk.com/downloads/KE283- ... manual.pdf On the odd occasion I have found that if I have dialled a number before getting into the car (out of bluetooth range, I thought) and it was not answered but on having started the car the PHONE message stays lit rather than going out after a few seconds, as it should. The only way to clear it was to ring the number again and then end the call knowing I was definitely within bluetooth range. The only reason I am telling you this in your case is to see whether you can clear the PHONE message by using the red button on your phone, as well as/instead of the telephone switch on the steering wheel, to see if that works, just in case the bluetooth is not registering the call has ended for some reason? Are you sure the telephone button is fully working? Try the re-dial procedure to see if that works (page 3 in the manual). Otherwise
  16. Do my 296 horses tethered outside count on this thread Easy to train - respond beautifully to a quick jab of the right foot Although they drink a fair bit, other nourishments needed are negilable Respond well to a good wash down, scrub up and pampering Minimal cost to keep fully healthy Extremely compliant when out enjoying some of the countries best exercise areas Always give me a big a when letting them off the leash Seem to attract very favourable looks and comments Like most things that get older worth less than bought, but the enjoyment factor has more than made up for that.
  17. Stop being so childish Well it was posted in the jokes section........................
  18. Are both CarpeDiem and J ohnny A cars last generation 350z's with the 313ps engine? if so the coincidence seems worrying - any more on here had that problem, which might indicate a faulty batch of belts
  19. You ought to update your signature, newbies might think you are Might as well show us a pic while your at it
  20. Yes we do I will pm you. Facelist ones ...... they forgot to pack them in the box. Hopefully they will be here next week. Sarah Hope your supplier is not offended
  21. You're still a spring chicken then
  22. And Beavis forgot the conditional, not so small, print I have underlined "As you are a betting man, I say £20 that he does win a race, providing that is he does take part in all the remaining races this season. You up for that." And before Beavis does his usual 'mod' to my post I saved a screen print
