  1. Here you go viewtopic.php?f=32&t=21842&hilit=axle
  2. Gee, thanks for that - should have realised ............................... I'm just little oll townie boy
  3. Not sure what noise squirrels make but are your sure it is not: a) clicking rear axles - repair kits at competitive prices are available from ZEDMANLEX. Its not a major worry issue other than the noise. dry brake shims - a touch of high melting point grease between them and the caliper body is the answer there. Both are regular issues with ZEDS - particularly if you think the noise is coming from the rear wheel area heard at slow speeds
  4. Turn that resistance down low Good news the clicky is fixed - those kits are the way to go rather than just the 'turn and regrease' option that is only a temp fix
  5. Yep, Tesco 99 when I can, V-power otherwise, BP ultimate if I'm only really desperate and don't bother with anything else...................................... except when in the Scottish Highlands where beggars can't always be choosy, but then the roads there soon put the :D's back
  6. Famous last words, when he calls you up to say you're going to be a Gran and will you be up for some baby sitting
  7. Bet the number of OEM parts left on yours can be counted on one hand
  8. Don't give 'em ideas
  9. Look at this way - the EVO is an extremely capable car, but it largely drives you and you hang on. But with the ZED it is down to the driver to exploit its full capabilities and you will soon find that once you are in tune with it, that is just why we all go around with a on our face. Having had a couple of Scoobys a while back they were great fun and so rapid in wet conditions but AWD does disguise the driver imput to make you feel a little more of a passenger - hope that makes sense
  10. Likely to be more hassle/cost arguing the toss than seeling the item on, but identifying first excactly what model it fits. Hey Nic, if is this the same son who had the m/c incident in Wales - he's not having a great time of things is he
  11. You also ought to try the A4069 through the National Park that has an infamous hairpin section But we have some spectacular driving roads lined up for the 10/11 in Wales, see this link viewtopic.php?f=19&t=24148 full details are being released any day now.
  12. Indeed you can. All oils will mix. Mixing good quality with poor is not good as it negates the performance of the good stuff though. Should be on 5w-40 or 5w-30 really though. Cheers Guy Guy: I'm sure you have already been asked the question before, but do you have an up-to-date list of the engine oils (that you stock) that you would recommend for a normally aspirated 350Z (2002-2008) - perhaps grouped by price (discounting any offers available on particular makes) When I check your website there are so many so if you could narrow it down for us that would be very helpful
  13. Welcome to 350z-uk Ideas to transform? Well a lot of people say to add a colour to that primer and I would say that should be black, (wouldn't I ) but as that particular example seems to have a very nice shine to it that seems a bit unnecessary Go to the users cars in the gallery for other ideas -there are so many options to choose from

    My new ride.

With that title thought is was going to be a pic, of shall we say, something a little more shapely
  15. From what we hear undoing the stay bolts can be a nightmare anyway As srobrien says, check that small tonneau or it could be possibly be the counter balance weight behind the lid lining or perhaps the wiring srving the rear wiper motor if you think that is the area it is coming from. You sure it is not something loose in the large glovebox? Its also not unknown for a bolt or similar to in the floor area (dropped when building the car) - and noting your car is relatively new. May be worth checking all around the spare wheel area
  16. Yes, we all are Mike
  17. Give him a chance Mike - don't you remember when you first got your ZED, you just didn't want to get out
  18. Yep, others have caught up and Brawn has gone backwards - something in the - 'updates' or settings has taken a wrong turn. How long before BMW pull out - they are going the same way as Honda. Have to admire the Williams results of late given their budget is nowhere near the leading teams
  19. +1 Mike - badge snobbery going on - just don't like to admit the 350/370 are bloody good value for money and gives far more driver satisfaction. I agree 5th gear with the 3 leading presenters is dire, but I still enjoy watching Tiff, Jason and even VBH having a play behind the wheel. They do a far better job than the top gear trio -and last night Brian Johnson at 62 (I'm nearly there ) even showed how a car should be driven. The only TG ones who drive well are faceless and voiceless so you get no feedback from them as to what the cars are really like to drive
  20. tyres Remember the exhaust will be working harder and any residue on it may start to burn off
  21. Welcome to the forum and here's a start in answer to your question viewtopic.php?f=37&t=1781 Found this in a quick search of the FAQ section -the search button is your friend, as they say.
  22. Have you considered bi-fold/sliding doors? Adds a 'wow' factor and can be provided in uPVC Example: http://www.i-d-systems.co.uk/folding/sf70.php
  23. but see my post on the top of page 3 of this thread: viewtopic.php?f=19&t=24148&start=30 - you too have the chance to experience those roads
