  1. Another great vid Adrian and a nice touch with the dedication
  2. Grid ref please. Can do better than that: http://goo.gl/maps/f7qpN and, two cleaner ZEDs in the same layby
  3. Ah, the Welsh recce posse on the A4212 I do believe
  4. Check the ZEDs for ale section but if you are thinking 370 you will need a budget north of £16k for a decent one
  5. pm Keyser (Chris) He is just along the road from Southampton and may have a solution Sorry Chris, but a member in need
  6. Here you go: http://www.350z-uk.com/topic/64609-rust-rear/page__hl__brace#entry957293
  7. is it hard to take off? mines needs a good bit of attention Check out Keysers build thread - I remember him doing his
  8. haha, sorry for my americanism spelling lol. Our Ekona gets very tired of peeps posting about the wrong rubber thingys
  9. Do you need one because of an MOT issue? From what we see more often the rusting picked up by testers is just surface - take the 'brace' off wire brush and Hammerite put it back, and jobs a goodun. Otherwise
  10. Let it go this time as you have described the system here http://www.350z-uk.com/topic/69536-decat-y-pipe-nissan-350z-needed-asap/ The username should be taken with the pics and items for sale not digitally added afterwards as anyone can do that on pics that have been 'lifted'
  11. Where do you see that tag? I always post the You Tube (or other video) URL in the "Link" box option. (and pics using the green "Image" option)
  12. Nope, he's gone triangling
  13. Agreed on both counts! Seriously, with car jacking these days, stopping because someone in an unmarked car wants you to, and even if they 'appear' to be wearing a police uniform, is that wise? With no other audible or visual signs that it is police that is risky and if the situation left me with no option I would stay in the car with doors locked and windows shut and have the phone primed to ring 999 on speaker if necessary. Might sound a bit drastic but remember we drive in cars that (so called) joy riders would love to get their hands on if they could. I would only stop if I saw blue lights personally, as in the link if someone was 'chasing' you or trying to force you off the road then drive to a heavily populated place and for this one and its blues and twos? http://youtu.be/9cVoLZfrp_Q and.is linked to the OP's experience?. http://www.pistonhea...=0&t=572811&i=0

  15. Sorry to bring you news of the passing of Mark 'Sparky' on 1 April, aged just 29. Unfortunately Mark had been suffering from a cancer related illness that in recent months had left him unable to use his legs. I then learnt of his passing and this message from his long time partner Amy is just so typical of Mark who I know had many friends on here and was very active when his health allowed: "He became ill on Monday 25th and was rushed to Hospital where he sadly passed away on Monday 1st April. He was s brave and so dignified he even found the strength to marry me. He would have loved to have you all there in your zeds" Gulp..... The funeral has been arranged for 10am the 12th of April (friday) at East Surrey Crematorum (Morden area in Surrey) followed by a gathering to celebrate his life and Amy has said that it would be nice if some of his friends from the forum could attend. Details to come, but may I ask that if you would like to attend the funeral would you please pm me so that I can liaise with Amy about arrangements. A reminder of the good times with Mark and Amy at last years Wales weekend and his beloved 370 that followed on from his previous 350 Sunset
  16. Agreed :bounce:

    Accident

Good to hear you are on the mend Daryl and car is next to be sorted, and whoever does the work is as good as the NHS has been with you
  18. It might be one of Ricey's furry friends, especially as its a loft and if there are trees overhanging the house, but that poop size is a bit worrying .
  19. But then our rules do not forbid members posting links for items/cars they may be selling, but not on here - some through choice or because they do not meet selling rules, as: 1) we are not a free ad hosting site to all-comers and 2) for those selling ZEDs and needing to meet the 100 quality post requirement before they can advertise on here, that is so that it can give members the opportunity to review the car history that has been posted to help give some comfort about it, which they would not get on ebay, autotrader etc. . But I sympathize with those hoping for a bargain that then have it highlighted.
  20. Interesting, but I suspect some wires crossed here and it is 370's made up that VIN number/date quoted. Still waiting for the official recall detail which will confirm, but best advice to any 370 owner who is worried is to call your Nissan Dealer sooner rather than later so that they can order up a replacement part before stock runs out and knowing that same problem affects the GTRs, which use the same part as Will ^^^^^ has discovered .
  21. Although you have posted in the TDi north sub-forum, you are far better off pming them direct. Thread locked
  22. Have you seen its look alike in this vid http://www.350z-uk.com/topic/69594-for-those-who-like-sideways/ Going for the flashing light as well?
  23. Better order some porridge straight away Jim having seen the size and weight of 350 gearbox! Oats 'good to go' Alex? Looks like you could have a nice little sideline opportunity....lol
  24. And on topic - jump to 4.05 for the show-off
  25. There are a handful of reported problems, including my own box being changed at the end of the warranty - more as a precaution really due to an "uncharacteristic noise" that the garage and I could hear. Posted in here. http://www.350z-uk.com/topic/60268-notchy-gearbox-and-clutch-issues/page__st__20 And see this section generally for more info that contains reported warranty problems with the boxes: http://www.350z-uk.c...arranty-issues/ but then we also saw a proportionate number of issues with the 350 box particularly surrounding the synchros. As we know, the box is less refined than say those in Porsches and the like and is even classed as "agricultural" in comparison, which I personally find adds to the drive and with the synchro-rev match it is a pure delight to use and is a revelation coming from 350 ownership. Both 350 and 370 boxes have been proven to cope with a lot of power and abuse without falling apart. So, from what I have seen and heard the failings are not a big issue IMHO, unlike the steering lock where there has clearly been a build fault to affect so many 370's around the world.
